Kandee's POV

We get back to the house and thankfully my family is out for the rest of the day and won't be back till 10pm. Phil and I walk upstairs to my bedroom, expecting to see Dan. Nope. He's not there.

"Wanna play a video game? My brother was telling me about how he bought a whole bunch of new games." I say casually.

"Yea. Sure!" Phil says. I grab my phone and we walk downstairs to play some games.

I hear the door open upstairs and hear a faint "Hello? Kandee? Phil?"

It's Dan. I'm honestly not as mad at him now, since Phil said he thought he was innocent. We put our controllers away and walk up stairs to find Dan sitting on the couch mumbling to himself.

"Dan?" I walk behind him. He turns his head to look at me and stands up so we're on opposite sides of the couch.

"Kandee! Back at the shop, it wasn't what it looked like I swear! She was coming onto me the whole time, and I know you've seen the movies where the guys say that and it isn't true but you have to believe me--" He says in one breathe.

"Dan!" I say so he can stop rambling. "I believe you."

He breathes out in relief. "Great." He says as if a giant burden has just been lifted off his shoulder. "I--uh, need to show you something."

"Okay..." I say.

"Alone..." He says quietly. I look over at Phil.

"It's okay. I'll be here, your family will be back soon anyway." Phil says sweetly. I smile at him.

"Thank you." I say as Dan grabs my hand. We walk to the door, and I look over at Phil one more time.

We walk outside and I see there's a car with a driver guy, waiting to open the door for me. I raise my eyebrows at Dan. "Where are we going?" I ask.

"You'll see." He says.

The driver opens the door and I step in, saying thank you, with Dan after me. "You'll need this." Dan says holding a blindfold in his hands.

I nod. What the hell is happening?

He ties it around my head, and we drive for a few minuets. "We're here." The driver says.

Dan helps me out of the car, and he guides me to where ever we're walking to. "Right. This way." He says.

"Annnnd...sit here." I do as he says and sit down on what seems like a bench.

"Can I take my blindfold off yet?" I ask.

"Yea, you can now." He says.

I take it off and adjust my eyes to the sun. I look around and see we're at a park. My favourite park actually, I've always loved the swings ever since I was little, and the grass is always green and it was always very peaceful.

I look around and don't see Dan, until I turn my head to the left and see him walking towards me.

He walks in front of where I'm sitting and gets down on one knee.

What the hell is happening?!?!
