Chapter Three
My long legs could not take me away from the horrifying scene that had just taken place fast enough.
Mystery boy just caught a glimpse of me! What's worse is that it looks like I was running away!
"Stupid Miley" I cursed under my breath. Why couldn't I be as courageous as her though....?
When I finally made it to the car and unlocked the door to get in, the questions began.
"So how was it?"
"It was okay."
"That's all? You didn't meet anyone or dance with a boy?" my face took on a shade of pink. Mum noticed.
"Ah-hah! Gotcha! What happened?"
"Nothing. Just tired and Chase was there so yeah. Alright night." I shrugged of her interest in the matter.
"I'm sorry sweetie. He's a jerk anyway. How about we go and get some tea?"
Well that was surprisingly easy. Mother always knows best anyway. Lets go get some tea (:
"I'd love that mum." I smiled at the idea of tea, but also that the interrogation was finally over.
"Oh. And don't think this is over, I wanna know all the deats tomorrow."
I was a fool to think she'd offer tea for free. Stupid naive me.

When we finally arrived home, mum went straight to bed.
I was left to do my nightly routine of showering, brushing my teeth, and washing my face.
The while, all I could think about was that boy....
Who was that?
The question continued to repeat itself.
Who was that?
I swear I've seen him before... Probably in the halls. Oh! If that's true, maybe I'll see him in the halls on Monday!!
With that pleasant thought set in my brain, I began to drift off to sleep from dancing the night away.
Now I just gotta make it through the weekend and everything will be ay-okay.............
My eyelids fully drooped down as I fell asleep.
