Yuri looked through her curtain covered windows to see the sun's rays starting to go through them, she had been completely awake from 8:00 in the evening, to 8:00 in the morning. There wasn't really much to do when you're awake during that time of the day besides read and eat. Currently, Yuri was just looking at her ceiling light that was rarely used at all. Even with the sun going through the room, it didn't really do much to brighten it. Yuri's room just composed of a black and purple sheeted bed, a white desk by the side that had a simple desk lamp in the corner, and a dark brown wardrobe for her clothing. (It still has a lot of room in it, no surprise there.)
"Hey Yuri, if it's not too tiring for you, can you run to the store and buy some things? The list is on the counter!" Yuri heard her mother yell from the side of the house. It was a Saturday, and it was kind of early in the morning. Due to Yuri's sleep schedule, this is usually the time she goes to sleep. But for once, Yuri didn't feel sleepy. Or at least wasn't sleepy enough to just pass out.
"Sure, what do you need me to buy?" The teen watched as the door opened, light leaking into her dark room. Yuri saw a tall woman come into view. Her long lavender hair tied into a lazy ponytail. Instead of her hero costume, she had a pastel yellow sweater that actually worked pretty well with her hair. Underneath were black pajama pants that seemed to just be taken from her father's closet.
"Well, your siblings kind of used the ingredients I intended to use for breakfast today. And also used up some other ingredients as well."
Yuri stretched her arms over her head, yawning a little before jumping off her bed. It's been a while since she ran an errand before.
"Alright, I'll head to the store and by these. Since it's so early, and it's a Saturday, I'd say this will only take half an hour at most." uttered Yuri, changing into her leggings and jacket. Her mother passing her the list of groceries. "I'll call you if there's a chance I'm gonna be late."
She slinged her black bag over her shoulder and headed off.
After getting all the things under half an hour. (and also going through randomly guessing where the food would be before one of the workers showed her directions.) Yuri started to head home, wanting to get a nap before breakfast is ready. On her way, she heard a soft gasp behind her."Oh my gosh, is that--oh god, did I say that out loud....?"
Okay, that was definitely a voice she has never heard before. She already faced the worst outcome the last time someone called out to her from behind. But the voice didn't sound anything near to 'his' voice, so she felt a little more relaxed.
Deciding to let her curiosity get the best of her, she turned around to a face she only 'mostly' haven't seen. He looked around her age, he had round green eyes that were adorned with freckles around them. He was wearing a t-shirt, shorts, with a pair of big red sneakers. The sweat that layered his face and the towel he was holding suggested he just did a workout. But one thing stuck out to her, it was the dark curly green hair that seemed so familiar to her.
"Hold on, haven't I seen you before?" The boy audibly gulped at the statement. "Weren't you the guy that ran from the faculty room? Why were you there anyway?"
The boy started to become more nervous. "W-Well,-- I mean,-- I-I was just-- You, were-"
"Answer the question." Yuri said with an indifferent expression.
"Well, yeah I was, I was just curious is all." The boy started to rub the back of his neck. "Aizawa-sensei yelling is something that doesn't really happen."
"Yeah, I guess his current condition right now has made him a little more stressed than usual. I can't really be mad at him for that, I would be too."
