Teamnwork ?

I woke up and look around to see Virgil and Crystal unconscious on the floor "shit come on guys wake up , we need to save her if  we try now we could find them"

Virgil sits up and holds his head " Aaron as much as I want to save Hope we don't know how long we've been unconscious for and I have no idea where we are , the plants and trees don't seem familiar to me"

Crystal sits up " I'd say we've been unconscious for about an hour or maybe two but seeing as his men would probably want to stay near their boss and with Hope struggling and probably trying to be as difficult as possible I'd say we're about twenty miles away from where we last were"

Aaron sighs " so basically we don't have much chance on finding Hope ?"

Virgil starts to cry * no we can't give up , I need to tell her that I love her"

" boys are you forgetting what hope said to us"

Aaron shrugs "Some crap about follow the flame; what's does that even mean ?"

Virgil's eyes light up " she's a fire demon you dumb ass meaning she's probably left us clues"

She smiles " at least one of you have a brain"

Aaron blushes " well let's just follow these damn clues"

Virgil sighs " we got to get where we were before and I don't fancy walking twenty miles so I'll teleport us their , seeing as I can roughly remember the surroundings their"

She laughs a little " sounds good Virgil"

Virgil teleports to the last place we were in and what they saw shocked them all.

The forest which was once full of life with beautiful scenery and lush green trees and grass is now completely covered in soot and burnt badly

Aaron laughs a little " well I don't think I can see our clue"

Virgil slaps him hard , across the face " Hope would never do this , she appreciates nature and presides this doesn't feel like it was down by magic"

"They did this on purpose to cover her tracks" she crosses her arms but smiles " but we all know Hope is smart and would hide her clues"

Virgil smiles brightly " well let's start looking for her clues then"

I look outside my cell window and sigh , staring at my chains . " come on guys I don't know how long I've got but I believe in you"

Jake comes in and crosses his arms " they will never find you my love so you might as well give up"

I look at him " it's in my name , I always have hope !"

"That will soon disappear" he smirks evilly and walks out the cell , slamming the door closed and locking it behind him " I'll make sure of that"

Will they find the clues or will Jake get his way ?
