The visitors

Annabeth's POV

"ANNABETH HONEY! WE HAVE VISITORS!" Percy's voice echos from the front door. I look up from the test I was marking, who could it be? "Who is it?" I asked. I mean it's not like Percy and I have loads on friends in Australia. I stood up and walked out of the kitchen and looked to see who was at the door.

I froze. I saw three people standing at the door, they looked older but I knew who there were. The one standing in the middle had shoulder long blond hair and blue eyes, he was the tallest of the three and looked in his late twenties. The one on the right was slightly shorter with black hair and dark eyes, he wore a lot of emo clothes and also looked in his late twenties.

The one on the left was the most familiar. He looked in his late teens, with orange hair and blown eyes. The teenager wore really baggy pants, a large hat and a tie dye shirt. "Will, Nico, Grover?" they had barely changed, they sure looked older but I know they are the same people I said goodbye to back when I was younger.

I ran forwards hugging each and every one of them it felt so good to see my old friends. "come in, come in " I gestured them into our house. I realised they weren't moving and look at Will, he looked stressed and sad, I quickly realised what was happening. They didn't come this far just to say hi.

I look over to my two children realising they were standing there confused. "Can you guys go upstairs while your father and I talk to our... friends?". Hesitantly Lucas grabbed Sunday by the arm and dragged her upstairs.

Will, Nico and Grover slowly had sat down on the couch. Across from Percy and I. we sat in silence until my husband spoke up. "so.... What's up?" Percy asked unsure of himself, a heavy silence followed. Normally I would have laughed at his antics and seaweed-brainness, but I know they are here for a reason and not a happy one.

I clear my throat "what Percy is trying to say is. What has happened? Because you must be here for a reason". I look expectantly at Grover, but it was Nico that spoke. "w-we..." Nico took a deep breath. It was unlike Nico to stutter but I realised a lot has changed about Nico, he wore less black and the shadow under his eyes weren't as dark. Nico's hand went to Wills, "we came to tell you that there has been a-a new prophecy...".

I gasp, covering my mouth with my hand. Percy turns as pale as a sheet. "W-what's it about?" Percy spoke as I took his hand in mine. This time Grover spoke up "We think its about you".
