Percy's POV

I let out a small yelp as another hard fist hit my stomach, probably leaving a large burse. The toxic air of Tartarus once again leaving my lungs.

"Will you join us?!" the red cyclops spat in my face. I am so tired. Can't they just leave me alone? Slowly I lifted my head, a sharp pain shooting down my spine. The chains around my wrists cutting deeper into my flesh. "n-never" I whispered.

The cyclops moved closer to me "Sorry, could you repeat that?". Clearing my already hoarse throat I spoke again "oh sorry, did you not hear me? I'll repeat myself. I. said. NEVER!".

I don't think he liked that. Another red fist came flying at my face. On contact my head snapped back. I swung back on the chains holding me in the air. Numbness creeped onto my face. Blood dripped from my re-split lip.

Once I stopped swinging, I smiled. "Hey, what you smile about?!" the cyclops growled, clearly becoming madder. I let out a small chuckle "you know we'll never join you right".

The cyclops smiled back, oh no. He slowly turned to a table off to the side. I saw the flash of something silver. I started panicking, my breaths becoming shorter. "H-hey Greg, I can call you Greg, right? W-what you got there?".

The cyclops turning around through the darkness I could see an evil glint in his eye. The cell felt colder, and the air In my lungs became staler. My body already ached from the memory of the sharp weapon.

In his hand he held a copper stained silver dagger, the dagger was jagged with chunks of metal cut out of it. The knife was stained with some of my old blood. As fast as he had turned around, he had stabbed it into my bruised stomach. I screamed as the metal pierced my skin. I could feel the knife as it ripped through my flesh. Blood now dripped freely from my stomach.

"I repeat, will you join us?" he said now staring me directly in the eyes. I bit down hard on my tongue until I could taste the coppery taste of blood. The cyclops thrusted the dagger deeper into my stomach. My vision blurred; the pain was so strong. I could feel the warm blood leaking from my aching stomach.

Through staggered breaths I managed to wheeze out one word "No". The cyclops looked furious. I shut my eyes ready for another blow to my face. It never came.

Instead the sound of the metal door hitting the concrete wall, echoed around the cell. I slowly opened my eyes, they stung from the light coming from the hallway.

A cyclops came in holding someone. I looked over in worry. As my eyes adjusted to the light the saw the pale face of my wife, Annabeth. The cyclops moved further into the cell. Walking over to the wall next to me, the cyclops roughly chained Annabeth in the wall.

I looked over at her. She looked barely conscious. The two cyclops turned away from us, speaking to each other in a different language. I looked back to Annabeth "hey, Annie! You ok?" I whispered as quiet as I could.

She slowly lifted her head, her eyes looked dull in the light from the hallway. "Yeah, but we need to get out of here. It's been a week and Sunday and Luke are in trouble." She whispered back. As soon as I opened my mouth to speak someone else entered the room.

The atmosphere darkened. My teeth began to chatter, puffs of condensation leaving my lips. The air became harder to breath, burning my lungs more than usual. the pain in my stomach, started to increase causing my eyes to water

The cyclops stopped chatting and were now bowing. A large familiar figure entered the room. The figure was much bigger than the cyclops. I could feel my energy slowly being sucked from my body. I hung limply from my chains; with no energy to stay standing.
