You walk up the cream colored stairs of the central building, feeling a little nervous with each step. Your boots clacked against the marble. The building was huge. It had flags of the dragon symbol draped against its sides. And you wonder to yourself, how would you ever find you way around this gigantic building.
Am I really going to do this? You ask yourself. Am I really going to join the military?
You remember when Edward had told you that maybe since you lost your limbs replaced with titanium automail, you could join the military and help them get the "bad guys." Though of course, Ed was only three when he had said that, he still had the right idea. What could go wrong with joining the military? It's not like you were automatically being sent to the front to go die off in a desert island somewhere.
When you had finished walking up the stairs, there then stood a tall blonde haired man, he looked about maybe in his twenties. He had a cigarette in his mouth, every once in a while occasionally taking a long drag of the stuff. It hadn't been until he had finally noticed your presence.
"Hey there, beautiful!" He yells as he runs over to you, "Are you the new girl assigned to take the state alchemy test today?"
You nod your head. "Yep! I'm supposed to but I don't have any idea where I am."
The ma flashes a beam of a smile and holds out his hand. "The name is Jean. Jean Havoc."
You shake his hand. "(Y/N). (Y/N) (L/N)"
"Great! Nice to meet you (Y/N), well since you don't have no clue of where you are, why don't I take you to the assessment grounds?"
"Really? That would be a huge help."
"No problem. Just follow me."
After walking around the whole central campus for about 20 minutes, you began to grow tired and your feet started to ache.
"Ugh, Havoc? How much longer do I have to walk? This is taking too long."
"Oh, well, we're just about here."
He stopped in front of a medium sized building that was labeled 'Assessments.'
"Oh thank you! Havoc!"
"Hey, no problem! Just let me know if you need any help, okay?"
"Sure thing! Also, good luck with your assessment!"
"OK thanks again!"
Havoc then walks away leaving only you and the building alone. After sitting there and observing the building, you finally muster up the courage to walk inside.
Inside is nothing but an open empty space, at the far end of the whole place, there stood Fuhrer Bradley himself along with two other men on either side of him(possibly body guards). If the president is going to be seeing me perform, I must have to work really hard.
"Hello," Bradley spoke, "Are you Miss (L/N)?"
You shiver at the sound of his booming loud voice.
"Um, yes, sir."
"Alright then, best of luck to you."
"Thanks."
Then Bradley and his men sat down in luxurious chairs accompanied by a large desk. You take a deep breath. Sure, you had tons of skills to show. You could do alchemy without a transmutation circle, you had plenty of skills. But most of all, you could perform blue flame alchemy. Yes, you were a blue flame alchemist, one of the very last in the world. In fact, your father was also a blue flame alchemist before he had died. All that he had left behind was his memories and his research.
