Meet the Maker

You awake the next morning to the sound of Edward's snoring. Who ever knew someone so small can be so loud at the same time. Alphonse was sitting in the room staying completely silent. Poor guy, he couldn't eat, he couldn't sleep, he couldn't even feel human contact. You wish you could do anything to help him.

"Hey, Alphonse." You say to him.

He looks at you. "Oh, hey (Y/N)."

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm okay."

"Okay"

You both don't speak for a few moments.

"I just wanted to say that I'm sorry. It wasn't right for me to accuse both of you."

"I'ts okay."

Suddenly Edward wakes up and creeps up behind you but you notice him. You turn around just in time to see him. He puts his face into yours and glares at you.

"Umm h-hey." You say timidly.

"Hey." He says back.

He gets off the bed and goes to the bathroom, leaving you and Alphonse in the bedroom by yourselves.

"Do you think he's mad at me?"

"Hard to say."

You sit there sulking down, suddenly Maes walks into the room.

"Time to go kiddos."

You were confused.

"Go where?" You asked.

"To work of course."

You had almost forgotten. Today was gonna be your very first mission. The one you had been dreading since yesterday. Butterflies swarmed around in your stomache. Just then Edward walks out of the bathroom fully dressed in his black clothes and red coat. He looks at you once again, giving you an unforgiving glare. You turn away from him and begin getting ready. After a few moments, you are finally fully dressed and ready to go. They were all waiting outside for you when you walked out. You all get into the car and drive away.

"I wonder what my mission is gonna be." You ask.

"Who knows," Maes says, "You might just be able to catch a bad guy."

"Or maybe stay at HQ and become Roy's pet." Edward mumbles.

You shoot him a dirty look just as the car stops in front of Central HQ. You hop out of the car and make your way towards the cream colored building. Just then, Roy walks outside to meet you.

"Hello again, (Y/N)." He says.

He looks you up and down causing you to flush some. Hopefully he didn't notice.

"Did you sleep well?" He asks.

This shocked you. Roy, the flame alchemist, wanted to know how you were doing.

"Um okay I guess."

He smiled. It was a beautiful smile. Once again you got caught up inside his features, listing the many things about him. His broad shoulders, his tall figure, and his charming attitude. This was all poetry to you.

"So," he continues,"I guess you're here for your mission?"

"Oh um yes!"

"First I have to ask you a few questions."

"Like what?"

"Are you afraid of chimera's"

"Who?"

"Chimera's a mix of many animals."

"No, I'm not. Why?"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

He chuckles.

"A brave, courageous, smart, girl on our team huh?"

You laugh.

"I don't know about that."

He smiles once again and hands you a folder.

"This is the files for your mission. Information on an alchemist named Shou Tucker, the sewing life alchemist. I need you to try and gain as much information on him as possible."

You salute him.

"Oh there's no need for that." He says, "Just do your best, (Y/N), I know that I can count on you."

"Yes sir."

You turn around and walk away. Not knowing that he was watching you walk away. You show the file to Maes.

"What'cha got?" he asks.

"We have to find a man named Tucker."

Edward opens his eyes wide. "You mean Shou Tucker?!"

"Yeah do you know him?"

"Hey Al, maybe he can give us info on the philosophers stone."

"Do you really think so brother?"

"I know it, Al."

"Then what are we waiting for?" you giggle, "Let's go already."

You all go into the car and make your way to the house. You finally stop in front of a large house. You step out of the car. Knock on the door. Suddenly, a large white dog  leaps out, you dodge the dog who eventually lands on Edward. You laugh. Then a man with round glasses steps out.

"Excuse me, do you know anyone named Shou Tucker?"

The man nods his head. "Yes, in fact, I am Shou Tucker."
