Everyone has been shaken up tremendously by Akihiko's little news flash. I'd say I'm the only one with any sanity, but even I don't feel sane. I'm really, actually stuck in a city only the beta testers know, left with a daunting task.
Reach Floor 100 and get out of this hellhole.
As I leave the square, I come across a boy shouting in the streets. He's holding up a pamphlet of some kind. I walk over to him and ask him what he's doing.
"I'm handing out information on the game and how it works," he says and hands me one.
I'm skeptical. "How do I know you're not just trying to get me killed?"
"Because I was a beta tester," he says. "My name's Takashi, by the way."
"Haruko," I say, holding out my hand. Takashi smiles as I take the pamphlet. "Thanks for helping me out."
"No problem!" he says as I walk away. He waves, and I wave back. If I don't get out of this game, at least the people are nice.
I begin looking through the book and find a plethora of information inside. Quests, swords, styles, and everything you could imagine, is all in this little booklet.
I might actually survive.
