Sapphire's POV

I make it to the Commanders door. I sighed and slowly opened the door. I walked in and smiled. noticed three other-well two animals and one robot.

Oh my gosh it's team dark..

For some reason my eyes always seemed to land on Shadow..

His dark red eyes were-well their stunning..

His features are breathtaking as his white fluffy chest fur looked soft..

My cheeks flushed a little and turned back to Commander.

"Greetings Commander, you needed me for something?"

I turned to look at them and back at the commander.

She's planning something I just know it..

I ended up glaring at Team Dark. If she ends up teaming me up with them that's where I'm gonna put my foot down.

I like working alone..

It's safer for me and for anyone else who works with me..

"Please take a seat Agent Sapphire. We have a lot to talk about?" My ears twitched in annoyance but did what I was told.

"Ok then, let's get started shall we?"

I sat in my chair looked dead straight ahead.

My ears twitched again as I was feeding on Rouge's thoughts. Man this chick over thinks a lot of crap.

She seems to never stop thinking about jewels.

Omega is pretty life less since he is a robot, but it'll be pretty easy to break off his arms and tear open his main system.

As for Shadow..

Hell that guy really knows how to build his walls strong.

I sighed and looked at the Commander.

"Ok, Agent Sapphire I'd like you to meet-"

I stood up and frowned "I know who they are, Rouge the bat, Omega and Shadow the hedgehog. All three are highly trained agents who go on daily missions-they call themselves team dark blah, blah, blah now let's cut to the chase here, I have training to do." I grumbled and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Someone never taught you manners.." Snorted Shadow. I smirked "that might be true prick but I'm trained to kill, and I know how to break every damn bone in your body-so watch it." I sneered and the commander glared at me.

"Sapphire I thought I taught you better. Respect. They are older and have been here longer than you have."

I shot her a small glare and then sat back down in my chair.

Rouge sat up. "Commander permission to leave?"

"No, sit back down."

Shadow grumbled "it's fine Commander, I take charge of Team Dark, I can handle this meeting without them."

With a small sigh she gave the approval for Rouge and Omega to leave. Which left The Commander, Shadow the asshole and me.

"Ok let's cut to the whole situation. Sapphire I'm assigning you to be part of Team Dark."

Suddenly Shadow and I bolted from our chairs. "To hell with that!" We both snarled in sync.

I growled "I work alone Commander. I'm not working with them."

The Commander sighed "Sapphire, you haven't had a partner in years ever since-"

"IT DOESN'T MATTER! I DON'T WANT TO GO THROUGH THAT AGAIN!" I snapped totally out of my character.
