Third Person POV

"YOUR WHAT?!" Rouge snapped glaring at Shadow.

He pinned his ears back while Rouge was blowing a fuse. "What do you mean your not with us anymore?!" She snapped nearly reaching over the table to strangle him.

He sighed and leaned back in his chair staring up at the plain ceiling.

"The Commander assigned me to work with her." He grumbled and shot a small glare at Rouge.

"It wasn't my choice. It was a damn order." He added on as Rouge slumped back in her chair.

"I don't understand. How could the Commander have the two best agents working together?"

Shadow rolled his eyes. "I have no idea, why don't you go and ask her?"

Rouge rolled her eyes. "Did she mention that you have to move down now?"

Shadow glared at her. "No. The Commander said nothing about that."

Rouge smirked "well The Commander told me you'll have to move down next to Sapphire since Daniel will be with us now."

She slipped the paper handout of some files which made Shadow nearly snarl and throw a fit.

"This is utter bullshit!"

Rouge rolled her eyes. "Now look who's over reacting now?"

Shadow shot her a glare. "Why the hell do I have to move and she don't?! Why the hell did I have to be assigned to her?!"

Rouge frowned and smacked him across the head. "Have some respect! Let's not forget your the one who ruined our mission with Blaze. In fact, maybe being free of you for a little while will do all of us some good."

Shadow growled and then stormed off to move his things out and into his new dorm.

His heart was racing. He was pissed that he had to move.

Most of all, he was angry at his own team.

Rouge followed him. "Think of it Shadow. You don't have to storm off like that. I'm just saying that maybe this new partnership will lighten you up a little."

He shot her glare and snorted in disgust.

"Or maybe it'll just be a waste of my damn time."

They both stopped at his dorm. "I have to go pack now since the Commander thought it would be a great idea for me to move." He sneered.

Rouge sighed and gave Shadow a small smile. "Lighten up Shadow. Have you ever heard of trust? Just give it time. Give her time, she seems to be a nice girl who just has taken a hard fall. Agent Sapphire is one of the best."

He looked at her for a small moment and then huffed. "Whatever.."

Rouge rolled her eyes. "Just give it time, who knows maybe you two will get along. Or maybe even hook up."

Shadow nearly cringed as he shot her a glare. "Not in a million years. No thanks." He grumbled and Rouge smiled.

"Whatever Shadow, have fun packing."

Shadow sighed and entered his dorm. "I'll see you later Rouge." He grumbled and with that he closed his door and began to pack up his things.
