When you look into a mirror, what exactly do you see?

Do you see yourself?

Or just a reflection of the you portrayed in a glassy image?

But aren't those the same things? It is still seeing yourself right?

Think of it like this.

A mirror may show your physical appearance such as how you look from head to toe.

However, does it really show the real you?

Who do you see?

Is it actually you?

Or a person that you pretend to be for the sake of trying to fit into society?

The world may be beautiful.

Yet at the same time, life is cruel.

We all want to be accepted.

Nobody wishes to be an outcast.

Why should people have to be the same just to be liked by others?

Ridiculous isn't it?

Shh.

Silence.

Nobody says a thing...

Or does anything about it

Even when the truth is untold.

This wasn't the best piece writing in which I have written, but I sort of got inspired by two songs which are: Idontwannabeyouanymore by Billie Eilish and The Truth Untold by BTS. If you happen to not like any of these artists, please don't leave any hate or mean comments towards them as I love and respect them both. Their music has helped me get through a lot even if you may not understand why I like them. It is always best to be mindful and considerate of what we say online.
