"Bullshit!" Riley shouted getting a few looks from other tables. They were at breakfast. Karlie rolled her eyes. Of course he didn't believe her. It didn't sound realistic at all. "Come on, I'm not lying. I know what I saw in those woods." Karlie replied looking to see if anyone else was still listening. Hopefully they weren't.

"It was tall and lanky. It was horrifying Riley." Karlie shuddered just thinking about it. "Are you sure it wasn't one of your...nightmares?" Riley asked almost cautiously. Karlie sighed in frustration, not wanting to think of it. "No...I'm sure. Besides....I ended up running into Taylor, one of the counselors here." Karlie said trying to hide a blush.

Riley smiles at this. "Oh shit! Is that a smile I see? I think someone has a little crush." Riley teased. "I do not! And I'm not gay. You know that." Karlie said defensively folding her arms. She looked over spotting Taylor chatting with some of the other counselors and laughing about something.

God she was so beautiful. Karlie thought her heart would melt. Riley smiles noticing this. "Sure Jan." He mumbled. "Hey, don't you think that blonde counselor is hot?" Tanner, one of the guys at a nearby table asked. The other guys sounded in agreement. "20 bucks says I'll fuck her." He went on making the other guys laugh. "Bullshit, you'll fuck her!" "I will! I'll have her bouncing on my dick in a few days." He laughed obnoxiously.

This made Karlie angry. She balled up her fists trying to control herself not wanting to hear more. It had only been the second day and she knew that Tanner was the most disgusting guys at the camp. She wasn't sure what made her more upset, that he was talking about her in such a way or the fact that it was her he was talking about.

Karlie tried to ignore him continuing to eat her breakfast.

The rest of the day had been nice. They played games, which Karlie was surprisingly good at. She was especially good at the scavenger hunt. Riley and some of the people he met there had even had a little celebration for her in his cabin. They even had vegan cupcakes that Riley had bought from the bakery the day before.

That night the campers sat around a gigantic fire roasting marshmallows and telling scary stories. None of them were that scary until they got to one where the camper was describing something similar to what Karlie had seen. She quickly got up and excused herself saying that she needed to go to bed. "Weirdo..." Heather said making a large amount of people laugh.

"Hey, you guys, be nice!" A counselor warned. The group continued laughing. Karlie rushes toward her cabin as images from last night plagued her mind. The awful 360 spin of the head. The sound of bones snapping. The horror of it all. Karlie ran to her cabin getting in her bed trying to stop herself from the oncoming panic she was feeling. Who would believe her?

*******
A few minutes later Karlie heard a light knock on her door. She wondered who it was. If it were one of her roommates they wouldn't knock. If it were Riley, he'd just tell her to open up. This frightened Karlie. What if it was that....thing in the woods? She was pretty sure that's what knocked last night.

"W-who is it?" Karlie asked frightened. "It's Taylor!" She heard the familiar voice say. Karlie relaxed but instantly began blushing as she made her way over to the door, opening it. She was face to face with the gorgeous blonde. "Hey, May I come in?" She asked concerned. "S-sure." Karlie said nervously stepping aside and letting her in.

Karlie could feel her heart beating fast. Karlie sat on the bed. "I noticed you seemed a little off today. Is everything alright?" Taylor asked. "Y-Yeah. I'm fine...jus tired I guess." Karlie lied. Based on Taylor's face, you could tell she wasn't buying it. "May I sit down?" Taylor asked. Karlie nodded. Taylor sat next to Karlie keeping a reasonable distance between them.

"Karlie, I want to help you. But if you don't tell me what's wrong, I can't." Taylor said with concern. Karlie looked into the girl's eyes. She felt as though they were putting her under some sort of spell. "I...I saw something last night..." she began. Taylor nodded for her to continue. "Last night, I saw this...this tall dark figure in the woods. I'm not sure what it was, but it was unnatural. It's head..did a 360 spin." Karlie confesses.

Taylor was silent. This scared Karlie. "You probably don't believe me. I know it sounds crazy." Karlie went on. "Karlie are you sure this wasn't a nightmare you had after you went to bed?" Taylor asked. This upset Karlie. She know what she saw. "NO! It wasn't! I know what I saw! Well sort of, it was dark! But that figure wasn't natural! I could hear it's bones snap. The way it walked was horrifying." Karlie yelled.

Her eyes were swelling with tears. She hated that no one believed her. She knew this wasn't a nightmare. "Karlie, shhh. It's okay. Shhh. I'm sorry." Taylor whispered scooting closer to her and pulling her into a hug. This surprised Karlie, but she returned it. Taylor smelled like vanilla which Karlie loved.

Taylor ran soothing circles on Karlie's back trying to calm her down. This helped. When they pulled away, they both looked into each other's eyes. Taylor cupped Karlie's face smiling at her. "I'm sorry, it just all sounds a bit out there. It's going to take time to process this." Taylor said. Karlie smiled nodding. She loved the way the counselor's hands felt on her face.

The two gazed admirably into each other's eyes. She didn't want to move but suddenly the door opened causing them both to pull apart. "LAAAAAAME! I could have told a better story than that!" Heather said as her and the redhead that Karlie had leaned was named Maddie, entered the cabin. By now Taylor was no longer sitting on the bed, but standing up.

"Oh, Miss Swift, what are you doing here?" Heather asked. "Just talking to Karlie about some stuff." She replied looking down at Karlie with a smile. This made Karlie blush. "I'd be careful if I were you. Pretty sure she's a dy—" "Heather, please." Taylor said stopping her. "Whatever." Heather replies rolling her eyes and talking to Maddie.

Taylor leaned in to Karlie's ear whispering, "Cheer up okay? You'll be alright, I promise." When she pulled away, she smiled and booped Karlie's nose causing Karlie's cheeks to turn red before walking out.

Karlie was still trying to process what just happened. Heather and Maddie looked to be in disbelief. "So, maybe I was wrong. Maybe they're both dykes." She laughed earning a laugh from Maddie. This upset Karlie, making her lie down and turn toward the wall. She was already missing the blonde.
