Karlie walked down the path deeper into the woods. She wasn't sure why she was out here. Curiosity maybe? The talk sequoias towered over her. The moonlight revealed their strange shadows. She suddenly stopped when she noticed a tall familiar figure in the distance.
She couldn't make out the identity but she knew it was the strange figure she had seen the other night. It stood there about 50 feet away staring at her. Her heart rate sped up. It began walking towards her. The way it walked was terrifying. It was more like a stalk. She began running away.
When she turned around, she no longer saw the figure behind her. She still ran, but stopped when she saw that it was now 50 feet in front of her. "HELP!!" Karlie screamed turning around and running in a different direction. She suddenly had collided with someone. "Shit!" Karlie cried. The person gasps. She looked up seeing Taylor. Her heart rate sped up. "Karlie....you shouldn't be in the woods alone. It's dangerous." Taylor said with a strange twinkle in her eye.
"Neither of us should. That thing is here. Let's go!" Karlie cried. "Shhhh" Taylor said placing a finger on Karlie's lips. Karlie was confused by this. To Karlie's surprise Taylor removes her finger leaning in and placing a kiss on her lips. At this moment Karlie had totally forgotten that she was trying to get out of the woods. The kiss had deepened and Karlie could feel Taylor's tongue wanting access which she gave her. Her lips felt wonderful against hers.
Karlie's head was spinning. She began lightly sucking Taylor's tongue which made her moan. Karlie lowered her hands to the girl's waist. As they were getting lower....

Karlie shot awake in a cold sweat. She desperately gasped for air. She looked around taking in her surroundings. She was in the cabin. She could feel a throbbing sensation in her core. She didn't hear her roommates so they must have been still asleep. Good thing they were deep sleepers.Karlie was both terrified and turned on by her dream. She couldn't forget that creepy figure chasing her, nor could she forget the way Taylor's lips felt on hers. She let out a deep sigh laying back down and staring up at the ceiling.

"THEY'VE WHAT?!!!" someone shouted in the back as the campers were gathered around the flagpole. "Two of our campers have gone missing. Heather and Britney." One of the counselors announced causing everyone to gasp in shock. Everyone began whispering amongst each other.Karlie couldn't believe what she was hearing. "We're guessing they went missing some time last night, since they were not seen this morning!" the counselor said. "Don't worry, we have the situation under control." "You didn't hear anything? Don't you share a cabin with them?" Riley asked. "Yes, but last night I assumed they were asleep. I didn't look over in their beds." Karlie said.
Karlie's mind instantly went back to the figure from the woods. What if it had something to do with that? "Maybe they ran away. This camp sucks!" Tanner said causing almost everyone to laugh. Karlie rolled her eyes. Karlie was frightened. She would have to sleep in that room alone. As much as she hated them, she didn't wish that on anyone.
She felt a hand startling her causing her to turn around. "Hey..." Taylor said sympathetically. "Hi..." Karlie replied nervously. "I don't think you should be alone in your cabin. Would you mind moving into mine with me?" She asked. Karlie face turned red. She couldn't believe Taylor was offering for her to stay in her cabin. "Thanks. I'd like that." Karlie replied trying to keep her cool.
"Good. I want you to feel safe here. It's number 13." Taylor smiled that adorable smile of hers before lightly rubbing small circles on her shoulder. Just the lightest touch made Karlie's mind go back to her dream the night before. She tried to rid her mind of the thoughts. No, Taylor was just trying to be nice. It was a platonic offer. Nothing more. It's not like Karlie wanted it to be something more. She totally didn't have a crush on Taylor.

The rest of the day was fine, but a bit strange. Everyone was worried about the missing campers. Karlie was wondering if the girls parents had known. However, the counselor told them they had everything under control so Karlie tried her best not to think about it.Everyone gathered in a room to watch an old movie on the projector. It was an old horror film. Karlie found it pretty creepy. The man on the screen had a top hat, was very tall, and had the creepiest eyes. They looked droopy, but horrifying.
"What the fuck is this shit? Why couldn't we watch something from this century?" Riley asked annoyed. Tanner shushed him from a few chairs away. "Eat my ass!" Riley hissed back flipping him the bird. Karlie chuckled at this. "Fucking homo." Tanner mumbled. "You better believe it." Riley replied.
A group of people snickered earning shushes from the others. Karlie turned around searching the room until her eyes landed on Taylor. Taylor looked deeply interested in the movie. A small smile played on her lips. The light from the screen illuminated her gorgeous features. Karlie felt her heart rate speed up. She had been staring too long because Taylor looked over at her meeting her gaze.
Karlie turned a bright red. Taylor gave her a dreamy smile. Karlie turned back to the screen, embarrassed. However, something told her to get up. So she did. She made her way out of the room and walked outside.
Karlie gazed up at the starry sky above her. She loved the night sky. It was so beautiful. The campground looked almost surreal. A few moments later she heard the door open. Looking over she spotted Taylor wearing her signature smile. "Hey Karlie, are you alright?" She asked. "Yeah...just thinking." Karlie replies, not trying to show the girl that she was nervous.
Taylor took took a few more steps toward her until they were face to face. "Abouuut?" She asked bopping her nose. Karlie blushes at this. She wasn't sure what possessed her to say what she said next, but it happened. "You." She replied. Taylor looked surprised by this. "Fuck! I'm sorry. I don't know what I was thinking. Ignore that." Karlie said embarrassed and walking back toward the building. "Karlie please. It's okay. Don't—" "It's fine Taylor. I'm sorry, I don't know what I was—" When Karlie turned back towards Taylor she noticed the tall dark figure in the background stalking towards them.
"TAYLOR RUN!!!" Karlie shouted. "Karlie, what's wrong?" Taylor asked. Taylor turned around not seeing anything. Karlie blinked noticing that the figure was no longer gone. Her eyes widened in terror as she tried to catch her breath. "It's coming for me. I know it is!" Karlie cried. "Shhhh." Taylor whispered cradling a frantic Karlie.
************
Taylor had managed to calm Karlie down when they had gotten to Taylor's cabin. Karlie sat on the other bed in silence. Her silence worried Taylor. Karlie didn't know what to do. She couldn't tell her parents. They would just say it was her imagination.Taylor had gone in the bathroom to change. "Karlie..." Taylor whispered when she suddenly came out. Karlie instantly snapped out of her thoughts. Karlie blushes when she saw the girl in a long t-shirt that went down to her mid thighs. "Karlie, are you okay?" Taylor asked worried. "Y-Yeah." Karlie replies averting her eyes.
Taylor smiles at this. Taylor climbs into the bed across from her. Her blanket had cartoon cats all over it. Karlie chuckled at this. "What?" Taylor asked wanting in on the joke. "Nothing...you're blanket. It's...interesting." Karlie laughed.
"But it's warm." Taylor said teasingly. Karlie got up to turn off the light then got back in bed. Karlie didn't want to sleep alone. Because she was afraid of course. Not because of anything else. "Karlie" She hears Taylor whisper. "Yeah?" She asked turning over to look at the blonde.
"You look cold." Taylor giggled. "I am." Karlie laughed. The blanket she had brought wasn't warm enough. The cabins here were freezing. Taylor shifted over motioning for her to climb into hers. Karlie couldn't believe what was happening. She instantly felt butterflies. Karlie slowly got up making her way into the girl's bed and climbing under the covers. Her heart was racing. She could smell the familiar scent of vanilla due to being so close to the girl.
Karlie turned around to face the girl. Their faces were only a few inches apart. Karlie couldn't help but stare into the girl's ocean blue eyes. They were entrancing. She felt Taylor trace a finger along her cheek staring back at her. A small smile playing at her lips. She noticed the girl glancing down at her lips. Karlie could feel her heart racing.
