"FUCKS SAKE GHUFRAN! DOES IT TAKE THAT LONG TO GET READY?!" Jay shouted. I rolled my eyes. Jay and I had been best friends for about three years now and he was always angry at how long I took to get ready.

"Sorry I just want to make a good first impression on your band mates!" I replied. Jay got an audition for a band and he got through, he really wanted me to meet them and I agreed and then got really nervous.

"Well you know they're not that neat and tidy and smart!" Jay grumbled.

I slipped a clip through my black hair which I had curled.

"Just coming!" I shouted.

"Whatever!" Jay mumbled. I pulled a face.

I was wearing a beige jumper with an owl on it, a pair of jean shorts, a Sueded Fringe Cross-Body bag, a pair of dream catcher earrings, mascara, eyeliner, foundation and lipgloss. I looked down at my feet, it was probably time to use those special paradise shoes Jay had got me for my birthday. I had wanted them for ages and Jay saved up and got them for me! He was an amazing person. I went in to the bottom of my wardrobe and pulled out a white clean shoebox and slowly opened the lid to discover my beautiful shoes.

Jeffrey Campbell Lace up platform ankle shoes! They were gorgeous and they made me feel so tall and special! I slipped them on and got up suddenly feeling like a giant. I checked myself in the mirror one more time and then walked out the door. I saw Jay tapping his foot impatiently and I smiled. He looked round and saw me and his mouth dropped open.

"Shut your mouth the flies will get in," I joked and Jay blushed.

"You're wearing the shoes I bought you! I thought you'd put them away for good and I thought one hundred and twenty pounds for nothing!" Jay laughed changing the subject. 

"No I actually save them for special occasions! They're beautiful," I said and looked down to admire my shoes again.

"You're beautiful," Jay whispered.

"Pardon?" I said not quite believing what Jay said.

"E-e-er....... Well......... I kinda been wanting to tell you something for a while," he stuttered looking at me. 

"What is it?" I asked suddenly worried. 

"I love you," he mumbled. 

"WHAT?" I shouted. 

"I LOVE YOU!" he shouted back. We both took a minute to take this all in. 

"Like love love? Or love?" I whispered. 

"What's the difference? I LOVE YOU AND I HAVE EVER SINCE I MET YOU AND NOW I'M GOING TO KISS YOU!" Jay shouted and then he walked over and placed his lips on mine. I was frozen but then I kissed him back. We next pulled away.

"Well that's our friendship over then," I sighed. 

"But I'd rather be more than friends with you, unless you don't want that," Jay replied. 

I grinned at him, "Are you asking me to be your girlfriend?" 

"Yeah kinda," Jay smiled. 

"I will," I squealed. He laughed and kissed me again and picked me up bridal style twirling me around.

"I love you," he whispered. 

"I love you too," I replied and I rested my forehead on his.
