I turned the TV off sighing. It was midnight of New Year's Eve and Tom my boyfriend hadn't got back yet. I pulled the blanket round me and rested my head on a pillow. Suddenly the door banged open and Tom walked through the door. I looked at him.
"Where were you?" I whispered.
"Sorry babe, me and the boys had to finish of a few songs! I'm sorry I wasn't here to celebrate," he replied and sat next to me stroking my hair. I looked up at him and pecked him on the lips.
"I missed you," I said and he grinned.
"I missed you too Liv. You know when we went to Capital FM, they asked me about you," he mumbled. I looked up.
"What did they say?" I asked. His smile grew even wider.
"If that there were any future plans!" he says trying to give me a hint. What was he trying to say?
"Look Liv," he heaved himself off the sofa and got down on one knee, I gave a little gasp as he pulled out a black box.
"I love you to pieces and always will. I mean what's not to like? Your beautiful and I think anybody would be a bit coocoo not to notice! So what i'm trying to say is, will you marry me?" he said. Tears streamed down my face. God I loved him so much.
"Thomas Anthony Parker, I will gladly marry you!" I squealed and he laughed and gave me a passionate kiss. I couldn't wait to spread the news to my friends! I loved Tom so much, that it would of probably been impossible for me to have said no. He slipped the ring on my finger and I gazed at the diamond that rested there. A sign that's showing people I'm engaged to the most wonderful man of earth!
