When you haven't given into the temptation to do something, it always seems like doing it is the only thing you can think of, the thought of doing it would hang like a dark cloud or spicy fruit over your head or your line of vision infiltrating every thing you do.

It makes you feel unsatisfied, like something is missing. But once you do it...bam...it's always like...is this why I've been restless for the past few weeks, months, years?

Sometimes you never want to do it again, the excitement is gone after that one time and you'd feel like it was all for nothing. If only you'd just held on you wouldn't have given in at all.

That was how Muna was feeling at the moment. She had broken her number one promise and vow to herself. A vow she'd made three years ago when she was thirteen and had seen her period for the first time. She had promised herself that she'd remain a virgin till she got married.

But two months ago, she had lost her virginity to her boyfriend of almost a year, Kesi and since then they hadn't had sex again. Not that the sex was anything to write home about but at least with the way he had been pressuring her for the past few months and the heavy cloud of sexual tension which always hung around them whenever they were together, she'd have thought they'd be going at it like cats and dogs.

Not only had the need to do it again gone away but Kesi has been absentee since then. He has been so busy with school work that he hadn't had the time to see her, unlike the past where he always went out of his way to see her even when she wasn't in the mood.

His school was having it's interhouse sports and he was his house captain. He was also participating in 100m, 200m and 4X4 relay race, football, high jump and hurdles. He was a star athlete and all that so he was super busy and it was also his last year so he wanted his house to win as many medals as possible.

And JAMB was coming up. So he didn't have time for her especially since they didn't go to the same school.
She had only seen him thrice since then and the rest of their association was done through midnight calls.

If it wasn't for that, she'd have thought they'd broken up or he was avoiding her but he was the one doing most of the calling.
Since they had met almost a year ago in March during his school's interhouse sports, this was the longest they'd gone without seeing each other

Muna remembered how he'd caught her eye throughout the games which she'd attended with her bestie, Amara whose twin brother Uzoma also attended Kesi's school. She had watched Kesi win the boy's 100m and 200m race, his house (team) had come second in the relay race and she'd also watched him play spectacularly for his house's football team who had won the cup. And as God would have it, he was Uzoma's friend too and when the games were over, he and Uzoma had come over to hang with Muna and Amara. Muna couldn't help falling for him. He was tall, fine and fun to be around. Muna was okay with being just friends though she was attracted to him.

When Amara the tatafo had told Muna later on that Uzoma had told her that Kesi liked her, her heart had leapt for joy.
It had been almost a year since then and though her heart still leapt whenever they were together, she found out that it was happening less since they had slept together. Welp!
