Dream Come True

chapter two

I awoke from the dream my face plastered with sweat, my heart racing so fast I swore it would explode out of my chest, and my side aching I reached down careful and let out a breath I'm ok there's no wound it was all a dream, ok slowly I calm my racing heart and began to relax. I chance a look at the clock and wince I've got 10 minutes before the bus gets here, mom will kill me if I miss the bus again this week. Quickly I throw on a sweatshirt from last years freshmen field trip to Cali and a pair of PINK legging with my Van's and brush out my hair I wont have time for a shower today but I showered yesterday so it's not horrible
     "alex get down here" my mom called and I knew by the tone in her voice she was on the edge of a lecture or was really getting mad "coming" I called racing down the carpeted stairs phone in hand "alex the bus!" She called just as I heard the bus honk and start to pull off "love u" I called racing out the door and running to catch the bus, it stuffled to a stop at the corner and I hoped on. "Lili" I yelled towards the back of the bus where my bestfriend sat, she was a stertipical blond,tall perky, a cheerleader but also in book club and a great hacker everyone loved her and she was one of the nicest girls I've ever known "alex" she gushed back waving ,the seat next to her was empty and I hurried to get the spot. "Hi alex" Macy hollered back as she got on. Macy was like my sister but not as close as me and lili,Macy had only moved here 2 years ago she was almost lili  opposite she was a deep burnet short but also a cheerleader and pretty smart, she ran to the back and sat with us.
