Bobbie POV

"Momma you not listening" I crossed my arms. I was sitting on her counter, watching her cook dinner for everybody- telling her about what Shayaa said 2 nights ago.

"I am listening, Roberta Bee. You're stubborn. He's stupid. You two make it work" she shrugged. Imma shoot her.

"That's all the advice you have. Give me something real"

"You wanna hear real? You and that boy are dependent on each other and when he told he would never marry you he pulled the rug from beneath you. You broke up without talking- you both started scrambling because you don't know what to do without each other and NOW he realizes this but you're too busy thinking of all the reasons you should be mad at him"

"He called me out of my name, ma. In front of all our friends" I whined. She's making it seem like we broke up over something small. "You know he didn't mean it and that it was one of his tantrums. You do it all the time"

"Whatever. Remember this talk when he starts beating me" I hopped off the counter. "If you let him beat you, I'll hire Barbie to shoot both y'all asses" she glared at me.

I miss my momma. I smiled at her and she returned the smile, before turning back to her greens. Before I could ask her what all she was making, the door opened.

I looked up to see Dray. What was he doing here? I glanced at Mom and she returned the look. "Hey baby" she greeted him. "Hey momma. What's she doing here?"

I rolled my eyes. "Same thing you're doing here. Eating dinner with her mom and friends"

"You invited all of them over here. After everything that has happened? You really don't care about me" he was getting all dramatic.

"Draymond. You can't cut off family because of ya baby mama" she pat her wig. "Momma they coulda killed my kid"

"Your baby's mother made the decision to fight while pregnant. And the Lord still gave us a healthy baby boy"

I looked at Dray, waiting for his lame response. "Whatever. I'm leaving" he turned around and walked out the front door.

"Roberta, you know it breaks my heart that you two can't be in the same room together" she said, sadly. "I know. But I haven't done anything for him to stop fucking with me"

She shook her head and kept cooking.

Barbie and Malaysia walked in with the baby carriers. "MY TRIPLETSSSS!" Momma yelled and rushed over to them. She loves those babies so much that it makes me want to give her a grandchild.

Barbie walked over to the stove and smelled the greens. "OG, the food smells amazing" she looked in the oven. "I helped" I chimed in.

"You put the chicken in the oven then sat on the counter complaining about Shayaa"

I shot a glare at my mom for airing me out like that. "You still can't decide if you're gonna take him back? Bobbie its an easy decision. He said one thing he didn't mean and confessed his feelings for you. What else does he have to do?" Malaysia came over to me.

"Do something permanent. Show me that he could see a life with me. Make it to where I don't have to question his love for me"

Dinner was great. Everybody got along and ate the food. Shayaa kept giving me the saddest looks but I refused to return them.

Once everybody had put their plates in the sink, we started saying our good byes. "Bobbie, Tip dropped me off and he's not heading back to the house. Can you give me a ride?" Shayaa said from the couch. I glanced at Barbie, who was nodding, then at Malaysia, who was smiling.

"Yeah. Come on" I shrugged. He followed me out to my Range and got in the passenger.

"Bobbie, I miss us so much" he pleaded. I shook my head and focused on the road. "Roberta. I've never loved anyone how I love you. And it's scary. It's scary to know I care more about you than I care about myself. I acted out and I'm sorry"

"If you really loved someone and wanted to be with them forever, you wouldn't put yourself in the position to lose them"

"What do I have to do to make it up to you?"

"Don't embarrass me. Treat me with respect. Make it seem like we have an actual future together"
