Bobbie POV

"About that, I'm not sure we can..... I'm just playing with you. You were giving me this super sad face" I smiled.
"That was cold, Bobs" he shook his head.
"You looked nervous, so I loosened you up."
I then turned to my mom, who had her hard ass cover on. This little woman has been trying to get me to date this boy for years and now he's here and she's being a heckler.
"Mom, can you go put my beautiful roses in some water? I'll see you at 11"
      She nodded, smirking.

"You know she was scaring you on purpose"
      He looked over at me.
"You didn't see how she was looking at me. She was just blunt and straight to the point. Sorry, I got you roses- if I would've know you were a tu—
"Shayaa, I don't care what kind of flowers you get. The fact that you went and picked out flowers for me, is what matters to me"
I reached across the car and grabbed his right hand. He smirked, bringing my hand up to his lips. Right when he was about to kiss my knuckles like a gentleman, he licked my hand like a dog.
"Shay!" I shrieked, pulling my hand away from his. "Stop fucking playing with me"
I love when he says stuff like that. I️ wish he'd choke me and tell me what to do, but then my independent woman side tells me not to let him boss me around.
       "Bobbie, you a freak"
"That don't matter, you not unlocking that side for a looooong time"
"Yeah, aight" he put that stupid smirk on his face. "You ever gonna tell me where we're going?" I asked, looking out the window. We had just left our neighborhood.
"We're going somewhere special"

"Okay, big head, we're here"
"That's why your tattoo artist fucked you up and drew a cross on your forehead"
"That's why your brother think you a hoe"
"Fuck you. Where are we?" I asked, looking around. We were in what looked like a park. Trees, lights, and a bit of downtown's skyline in the background.

I was really enjoying myself. We ate Subway and watched the city while having the most interesting conversations.
"So you're telling me that my mom has bought from you before?" I asked, cracking up. "Well, it wasn't me. She bought from Harold but we know where the money went" he smiled, taking a hit of the blunt.
"You don't have your double cup. And since when do you smoke so much, I thought it made you paranoid?"
"I could never be paranoid or on the edge with you. You calm me down. And my double cup is in the car waiting for me"
"Shayaa, do you ever want to leave the hood? Break the cycle and go out there and be something other than a basketball player, rapper, or drug dealer"
"I'd love to, but once you get as big as I am..... you can't just leave the game"
"Would you leave it for a girl?"
"The right girl"

After he dropped me off, I went and changed into booty shorts and a tank top.
As I sat on the couch thinking about how great our night was, my mom came out of her room. She sat next to me and just grinned for a while before saying something.
"You like that boy"
"I do, I really do"
"Well, there's still some time before curfew"
I looked at her. One I realized she was serious, I ran to the door and shot across our yards.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
I was met with a grinning Chevy.
"Where's Shayaa? I need to talk to him"
"He just let you call him Shayaa all the time"
I nodded, imagining a world where I only called him Savage.
     "Go ahead to his room"
I walked back to the room where we shared a true connection the night of the party.
Do I knock? Or just come in?
I hit the door a few times with my knuckles and once I heard the come in, I walked in.
"Damn Bobbie, you really feeling the kid, huh? Couldn't even go an hour without seeing this face"
I shook my head, making my way to where he sat on his bed and leaned my face in close.
He brought his hand up the back of my head. As we began to kiss, he used his other arm to pull me into his lap.
I ran my hands up and down his chest.
His hands ran circles on my butt.
We could probably stay just like that forever but then there was a knock on his door.
      "Yeah?" He yelled.
Harold and Pablo walked in. Once they saw us, they glanced over at each other and began to grin so big their mouth muscles must hurt.
"What do y'all want? I'm a little busy"
"Draymond's gone. He packed up his stuff and left. We sent some newbies out to locate him, but they can't do shit but sell weed"
I can't believe Draymond would do something so childish and irresponsible. He could get killed out on the Atlanta streets.
I climbed out of Shayaa's lap. "I need to go put on some sweatpants and a hoodie to help you guys find him" I said.
"You really wanna come? This may take a while and I don't want you to be disappointed if we don't find him"
"Sav, I'm not 2. I get how his goes, but you guys aren't going to go Dora the Explorering across Atlanta to find my brother without me"

We had only been looking for a hour. Every hotel or bar we'd ask people had they seen him and show a picture. So far, no one had gotten any clues as to where Draymond might be.
"Hey, Sha. Why do you think he left your place? He was perfectly fine over there"
"Bobbie, do you not remember the car kiss right in front of him"
Realization dawned on me that if something happened to my baby brother, it'd be my fault because I did something to drive him out of a safe house and onto the heartless streets of the ATL.
"Shayaa, we gotta find him"
"I know, Bobbie" he wrapped an arm around my shoulders and snuggled his face into my neck. He left a hot kiss behind my ear and went back to focusing in front of us.
