"the world was on fire and no one could save me but you
it's strange what desire will make foolish people do
i'd never dreamed that i'd meet somebody like you."

THE NEXT MORNING, Victoria had come out of her room to find no one in the living room, thankfully. But, she knows that Eric was going to stay with her seeing as she heard him shouting to himself before she had fallen asleep sometime around two or so in the morning.
She had made her way down to grab something for breakfast, and she had found Sookie talking — more like, arguing — with a bellboy in the hallway towards the cafeteria.
"Listen, I don't know what little fried corn-on-the-cob town you're from, or what candy-ass vampires you're with, but this is Dallas, baby!" He snapped at her as Tori joined them.
"You watch your tone of voice with my cousin, asshat!" She snapped, pushing him away from Sookie who grinned at the sight of her.
"And don't you call me baby," Sookie spat as she glared at the boy.
"Dallas vamps are serious and scary as shit," he told them both with wide eyes.
"Ours are too, thank you very much," Sookie told him with a sassy head tilt. "I had to learn pretty quick how to handle myself around them." She didn't mention Tori because of the fact that she had encountered a lot of things before she moved in with her.
"If they knew what we could do, they'd suck us dry!" Barry said as he looked between them, not knowing if the brunette could also do the same thing as them.
"Wait... he's telepathic, too?" Tori asked Sookie quietly with furrowed brows. "Is that what this argument is all about?" When Sookie nodded, she hummed. "Wow..."
"They'd do worse than that," Sookie informed the boy. "You think I don't know? That's why we need to swap stories. We can help each other."
Barry flailed out his hands, annoyed, fearful, and angry. "I don't want any help. Just forget about it. You can't tell anybody about me, please!" He then turned around and left them.
Victoria crossed her arms, staring at his retreating figure before turning to the blonde. "It makes you wonder how many of you there are."
Sookie nodded before they walked together towards the cafeteria. When they walked in, they immediately went towards the table that had food laid out on it.
Once they grabbed something to eat, they both walked together towards the elevator.
"How's your room?" Sookie asked when they entered the elevator, and she watched in amusement as Tori stuffed a muffin in her mouth.
"It's fine," she said quietly before saying, "It's also Eric's." She huffed as she swallowed the food in her mouth. "He's so infuriating!" She exclaimed, shaking her head. "I don't understand him at all."
