BLOOD RAINED RAINED from the ceiling, oozing holes in the plaster as it splashed down onto her floors. It fell on her face, sliding into her hair. It swallowed the bed, melting the covers into waves of blood that surrounded her, trying to drown her.

Suddenly, to her left, Connor's face appeared and he shouted at her. "You killed me, Victoria! You're a monster!"

As he advanced toward her, she squeezed her eyes shut and screamed, wishing the images away. When she opened her eyes, her room was silent and still without a trace of the horrifying scene she had just experienced.

"Oh, god!" She sat up, running her hands down her face, finding that she was completely covered in sweat.

"You should just kill yourself," a voice whispered and she quickly turned to look at the left side of her bed to find no one there.

"Eric, where are you?" Tori whispered to herself, pulling her legs up to her chest, and wrapped her arms around them tightly. "I need you."

"Can't sleep?"

Tori sucked in a breath and when she turned to her left this time, Connor was there, leaning against her headboard, arms behind his head. "You know... It makes sense. Guilty conscience."

"You're not here." Tori clenched her eyes shut tightly. "I'm... I've got to be dreaming."

"Then how do you know that I'm not here?" He asked with a grin, daring her to say the words.

"Because you're—" She stopped herself short and swallowed thickly, the noise of the saliva sliding down her throat was loud to her.

Connor sat up and faced her, "Come on. Say it!"

She took in a shaky breath, trying to steady her heartbeat that was picking up it's speed. "Because you're dead."

"Yes. I am." He watched her and smirked. "Was that the first time that you've taken a human life?"

The answer came out of her mouth quickly, "yes." She then gulped and closed her eyes tightly again. "You're a ghost. You got to be..." She began rocking back and forth. "You're a ghost and you're haunting me."

"Can a ghost do this?" He was suddenly pushing her down, his hands going around her neck, strangling her. She choked in surprise and kicked him off of her. He fell off of her bed, but got up quickly, rushing back over to her.
