"elliot get up! i have to drive your brother to football" my mom yeled from down the stairs, her sense of rushed alarmed me as i was currently in bed with unbrushed hair or teeth,in fact i had just woken up and still half asleep.
i jumped out of bed which ended with me faceplanting the floor, letting out an inhuman noise i lifted myself up and into the bathroom, luckily i had the only en-suite so i didnt have to share with either of my brothers.
After i had finished in the bathroom i changed into my ripped skinny jeans, nirvana shirt, flannel and black vans; leaving my shoulder length aubun hair down.
once i arrived downstairs i was greeted by my mother frantically rushing around the kitchen in a oanic while my younger brother,max sat at the counter peacefully eating his coco pops. i saw my older brother, derek, who was supposed to be on his gap year bcakpacking the world but had decided just to stay home and sit on his ass all day doing nothing.he was watching some shitty sit com.
My mother left shortly with max, but not before warning derek not to bring friends round or throwing a party. of course he had ignored her as i was now trapped in my room as a group of idiotic young adults sat round gossiping about the 'catch of the week'.
although it wasnt that bad as when he got a bit tipsy from all the beer i would be able to sneak out and visit my friends.i crept downstairs being carefull to avoid the creaky floorboards, grabbing my bag on the way. they're backs were turned to face the telly and the door was right infront of me so hopefully if i did'nt make a sound i would be able to sneak out, id done this plenty of times before but its still nerve wrecking, i dread to remember what derek ahd done the last time he caught me.
somehow i had managed to get out and i let out a relived sigh. i only had 3 blocks to walk before i would arive at micheals, i had already texted him i was coming over to which he replied with 'k'. we were basically siblings, we grew up together and since day 1 we have been inseprable; i did have other friends it was just michael was special.
