Chapter 2: " Listening to Him "

Hi guys Back with a update, Hope it lives up to your expectations.

Two days Later

Swara was having a pleasant dream for a change one that didn't have a gun pointed at her , then it ended because of the buzzing sound of her phone which made her angry .

And glancing at the caller Id ,didn't brighten up her mood. She must have talked to him more than ten times in the last two days. It felt like he called for the sole purpose of reminding her that Sanskar can't be trusted .

She answered the call in fear that if she didn't answer he might visit her thinking she was kidnapped . But the hope faltered when he told her ,he had arrived already with the divorce papers.

" He isnt here yet obviously he is planning something " Swara choose to ignore his warning and cut the call with the promise she will be out soon .

She got up to get ready and felt the rush of apprehension at the thought of meeting him again , it has been two days since she last saw him . And two days she wondered why he kept her waiting .

She finally found the courage and called her dida yesterday morning , apparently though her mom lied that she was fine ,from the voice of dida she knew her dida was aware something was wrong in her life .

" What going on ,both Sharmistha and Sanskar always say you are fine but it isn't like you to go without talking to me this long " Dida voice held the worry and concern that swara couldn't hold back and lie like the rest of them. She kept the memory loss part to herself and told about the accident that resulted in a coma for few weeks .

" Those idiots how could they keep it away from me. And your husband let him call next time , I will have words with him for breaking his promise . He promised he will keep you safe . " Dida answered back  but swara knew she was relived to hear her voice and to learn she was fine and swara didn't want to tell her about the memory loss and worry her

" It not his fault dida " she answered back and froze as the word registered in her mind. She justified it as consoling her dida but began to wonder if she was coming to terms that a person like kissan couldn't kill his wife in cold blood.

Kissan was an act she kept saying to herself but a part of her who saw him as kissan couldn't think of him as a murderer either .

It took some time to assure dida she was fine and with the promise that she will call often she ended the call.

Swara mind pondered back to the last sentence of her dida as she stepped outside to meet Sahil.

" Tell Sanskar it isn't his fault. He would likely keep blaming himself for your accident still . That guy loves you beyond words and it must have been a devastating experience for him ." her dida words kept ringing in her ears as she walked outside her house after informing her mom  to meet Sahil who was waiting in dida house .

" He isn't here " Sahil voice greeted her and before swara could respond she saw him stepping inside with beautiful woman by his side and his cousin and someone else wearing a lawyer court which made her aware he was the lawyer who would check the divorce papers .

Swara hated the hint of jealousy at the woman by his side and she didn't react to him until he walked right upto her .

" The divorce papers Swara , first let my lawyer check it then we can talk " his words were said with confidence while swara heart was anxious as the time finally arrived .

She swayed little that Sahil hand shot out to steady her but swara relinquished his hold as she didn't like it for some reason.

" And Swara this is Dr Niharika , she will be with us during the talk " Sanskar voice spoke up as he introduced the woman beside him .
