Hermione's POV:        28th of August 1998

I stared at Ron. All Opportunitys that are coming up. The Deaths.. I can make them alive with this Life-Time changing, magical item. I can change the future. I can do the world a favour. Until it hit me. My face showed a glint of disappointment. Timeturners can only bring the user for serveral hours back in time but not for something like years. Ron looked focussed and cheerful about the dozen of opportunitys until I spoke.

"Ron, - this is useless you know", I said sadly, "We can't save them." Ron looked at me with utter confusion and a glint of anger. "Why not, we have the Timeturner. We just need to spin it and -", he said.

"No, we can't just spin it and come to a different time Era. The Timeturner is only made for short instances. The largest amount of Timetravel was by Richard Generes who only travelled 10 hours to the past and then it broke.", I interrupted.

"So you are saying that you haven't heard of any people or book who travelled more than 10 hours and that this is utterly hopeless", Ron said hopelessly, his shoulders sanked.

"Yes, but I haven't tried to read the Timetravel books of the restricted section yet", I said. Ron made a move forward and strode towards the door.

"What are you waiting for?", Ron asked slightly amused about my baffled face.

"You know why I came here, right? To talk to your mum and comfort her if she needs it.", I said. But he pulled me through the door, downstairs to Molly Weasley and let go of me.

"Mum, is it okay, if you cancel the chit chat with Hermione? It's really important.", he said to his mother, who only moves her hand dismissively.

"It's alright. But what is it about?", she asked confused.

"An Opportunity we want to take", he said and waved a good bye to his mother.

"Thank you", he said before he leaved the House with Hermione, who now has more hope because of Ron Weasleys Enthusiasm.

"Take my Hand", I said and he grabbed it, before I apparated to Hogsmeade. "Firstly we must find Professor McGonagall for her permission for the Restricted Section", I said to Ron, who began to walk to Hogwarts. "Secondly we must -, I had said before I was interrupted by Ron.

"You really want to ask for her permission? You know, we have our ways for secrecy?", said Ron pulling out Harry's invisibility cloak. "Or do you still want to ask her?", Ron said slightly smirking.

"Yes, of course. It's inappropriate to not to do that. She's still headmistress and highly valued. So Yes." But Ron wasn't listening. He still walks to school without any kind of agreement on his face.

"Ron, we must see her. Besides must I remind you, that I still may ask her about the Timeturner in the first place.", I said opiniated. Ron stops in his track. Then he turned his head in my direction.

He sighed. "Okay. We do it your way, but if she refuses to let us into the restricted section of the library, we do it anyway. Okay?", said Ron in an unbelivingly voice.

"Okay", I replied. Then we walked 12 minutes until we were on the grounds. As we walked through the corridors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry the memories were flooding back.
