Chapter 3

Leo POV

“ serpent curse?" I said dumbly again lifting up my wrists, well that explains why I have the weird tattoos.

“ I am afraid that there is nothing we can do for you to keep you safe" Chiron said not even looking in his eyes. “ safe from what?" “ O̱ theoí mou Leo , an den archísoun na pli̱ró̱noun prosochí̱ sti̱n táxi̱ mou , ó̱ste na me voi̱thí̱sei egó̱ tha se skotó̱so̱ !" Annabeth yelled at me. (Translation: oh my gods Leo if you don't start paying attention in my class so help me I will kill you myself.)

Percy's eyes widened as he stared at Annabeth probably because he could understand her and what ever she said wasnt very pleasant.

“ the serpent curse brings the worst of luck and is fatal to any victim getting away from the creature's hypnotism" Chiron explained. “ what was that creature anyway?" I asked.

"Well, technically she is considered a demigod half women half water snake" he said as he looked at his hooves for some reason. “ wait water snake,does that mean?-” I asked holding in my laugh as I looked at Percy.

“ the creature that attack us today was unfortunately a spawn of Poseidon and Medusa" ( for those of you that don't know in the first movie Medusa claimed that she use to “ date his daddy')

“ WHAT!?!" Percy screeched.

I was on the floor laughing even though it hurt to move so much is was so worth it because this was too good. I got back in the bed after Annabeth manage to calm Percy down, tears were streaming down my face from how hard I was laughing and my stomach muscles ached.

I didn't realize how tired I really was until my head hit pillow and I yawned I could stop my self from falling asleep even though these wool blankets were itchy and the mattress felt like bricks

I was able to leave the infirmary a couple of hours after I woke up as I  began to walk out the cabin passing the celestial gold fountain of fresh nectar i noticed that the marker on my face was gone as looked at me shimmering  reflection. Will was carrying some ambrosia to a boy who had decided to TP the Ares cabin and lets just say it didnt end well.

" what are you looking at?" he said.

" my reflection-" i started but he explained before i could finish.

" yeah, we took care of that when you first came in because the others couldnt focus"

i thanked him and left walking up the through the forest and straight to bunker 9 I hiked in the deep forest on using my secret shortcut. I passed the stream and I walked a few more feet before I came to the dead end blocked off by the hundred foot tall limestone cliff.
