Chapter 2

A/N: So the contest is still on its just I really need to update even though you guys don't really want to participate in the event but please I just really want to make this story fun and interesting...so I would appreciate it if you would please at least put in a entry for the contest. thanks and enjoy the chapter.:-)

P.S: even if you guys dont I think you are all still great for giving my story a chance anyway.

Leo POV

I woke up to screaming from out side my cabin followed by hissing and small explosions that caused the cabin to quake making me realize two things.

One: I am a really heavy sleeper.

Two: My siblings do not care enough to wake me up in the morning.

But anyway, I got out of my bed, put my shoes and strapped on my tool belt before running out of my cabin to be faced with everyone fighting a huge monster. The monster was half woman half snake and completely beautiful with her long light brown hair that seem to shimmer in the sun.

Campers charged toward her with dagger and swords, her fighting them off by spitting hot venom and every once in a while grabbing and slinging a demigod yards a away using her green reptilian tail.

“ A little help over here, Valdez" Kaliska, one of my siblings yelled as she charged at the monster who grabbed her with its tail rilling back to throw when I throw a fireball at it. The fireball hit its tail, absorbing the energy and beginning to glow as it dropped Kaliska and slither towards me.

Okay, fire bad, weapon good. I thought as I took a small sledge hammer and ran towards the monster, avoid the flying bits of venom and trying not to look at its face so I won't get distacted.

I was close enough to where I can use the long handle to smash right into in but as I raised it in the air getting ready to bring it down she wrapped her tail around my wrist.

I yelped in pain my skin stung intensely with contact and I could see my hands visibly smoking. I saw its eyes, her eyes which were large lustrous orbs of royal blue, I blinked and suddenly I was on the beach.

She was still looking at me but a dazzling smile appeared on her face her teeth perfectly white. She no longer had a snake tail and wore a deep blue bikini which really brought out her eyes that look like the sea so much that he could drown in them.

“ Come on Leo swim with me "  she said running from shore towards the glistening water jumping and popping out beckoning me to follow.

I looked to see I was wearing orange and red flaming swimming trunks.

I splashed towards her and when I was close enough she pulled me in and kissed me, her salty but soft lips on mine.

She pulled away and look at me before coming closer to whisper in my ear.

“ Leo?".

“ yes?" I asked.

“Leo?" she repeated.

“Leo?!"

I opened my eyes not realizing that I had them closed, and I was no longer on the beach but in tight grasp of a monster. Annabeth held her dagger close as she swung at the beast which hissed and spat venom never releasing its grip on my wrists. Many campers tried to help to but they couldn't get close enough without them almost getting scorched with venom.

I was getting weaker and felt kinda tried, I looked up at the monster to realize her tail was glowing brighter and brighter. It was sucking the life out me like a succubus a really beautiful succubus I knew I shouldn't be interested in a monster who was currently trying to kill me. But come on she was hot literally like I can feel the heat coming off of her tail.

Annabeth moved quicker jumping on the monster's tail using that like a spring as she catapulted right into the monster chest stabbing it right the heart as the monster burst into sand.

We both fell only breaking our fall with the mound of sand, everything was unclear as I began to lose consciousness.

Everyone was around me saying something but it was hard to hear them because everything was getting fuzzy. I was so tried and my wrists stung, I just wanted to sleep and that's when everything went black.

I woke up again whispering all around me I blinked the sleep out of my eyes and I saw Chiron, Annabeth, and Percy and we were in the infirmary. I shifted a little it was really uncomfortable to lays so still and plus this bed was so hard it felt like I was laying on bricks.

Everyone looked at me and stared at me making me even more uncomfortable.

“Leo?" Annabeth questioned.

“The one and only" I said as I sat up and cringed as I did so because my muscles were stiff from not moving around for a while. “ how long was I out?" I asked stretching “ a couple days” Annabeth answered quickly.

I stretched my arms to seem my wrists were bandged I slowly unpeeled it off as everyone just watched.

I unwrapped the last piece to find a weird snake tattoos identical on both my wrists.

Chiron stepped forward with a look of sympathy in his eyes “ Child I am afraid when you encountered that Lamia you were marked" he said.

“ marked with what?" I asked looking down at my wrists.

" fídi katára" he spoke

“ huh'?" I questioned dumbfounded.

Annabeth stepped forward obviously frustrated that i wont pay attention when she constantly tries to teach me basic greek.

" It means serpent curse" she dead planted.
