I was so busy in school these past few days because of my final exams that I did not notice another week went by. Time really did fly too fast. Tomorrow, Joe and I will be attending a ball and I haven't bought a gown yet. It's a Black and White themed charity ball. I don't know how Joe got invited in this event, sabagay mayaman 'yung angkan nila, hindi na dapat ako nagtaka.

"Camille, may lakad ka ba after ng class?" I asked my best friend.

She nodded, "Yeah, got some errands to do eh."

"Sayang! Papasama sana ako sa'yo mamaya." I replied.

"Kay Joe ka nalang magpasama, Kass." Camille said then she handed me my order. Lunch time kasi namin.

"For sure nasa gym nanaman 'yun mamaya." I replied, "Okay lang, ako nalang mag-isa pupunta."

"Sorry talaga, Kass." Camille apologetically said, "May kailangan kasi talaga akong puntahan mamaya."

"It's okay, Cam. I understand."

Camille and I happily ate our lunch. As soon as we finished our food, we headed straight to our next class, we need to review pa for our last final exam for this term.

"Math will be the death of me!" Camille grunted, "I'll shift next sem."

"To what course?" I curiously asked. Don't tell me she'll follow me sa Sports Science ah.

"Tourism." she replied while wiggling her brows, "Less Math subjects. I checked their curriculum already."

"Hindi ka naman masyadong ready ah." I commented, "Awra ka lang kay Pio dun eh!"

"Grabe ka! Hindi naman." Camille defended herself, "You'll shift next sem, wala na akong kadamay sa pagbagsak kaya magshishift nalang ako."

"Ginawa mo pa akong dahilan!" I countered back, "As if your parents will allow you to shift."

"I already talked to my parents and it's fine with them." she anwered with a smile, "How about you, Kass? Did you talk to Tita and Tito na?"

I shook my head, "Not yet. I'm staying at Tyler's house pa rin eh. Sunday pa ko uuwi sa'min."

"You should tell your parents about it already. But I think they'll allow you to shift naman." Camille said but she wasn't looking at me, her attention was on her phone.

"I hope so." I simply replied, "Who are you texting ba? Kanina pa 'yan ah."

"It's Juan." she answered nonchalantly, "He's annoying me again."

"Don't get me wrong, Camille." I started, "But that's how Juan and I started. Kayo ah!" then I tickled her, "Bagay kayo!"

Camille pushed me away from her, "Stop it, Kass! Asa naman na magkagusto 'yun sa'kin 'no. Patay na patay kaya sa'yo 'yun."

"Talaga ba? Eh hindi na nga nagpaparamdam sa'kin 'yung isang 'yun." I tried my best to sound sad, "I guess he's busy talking to someone na. Mukhang may bagong katext na."

"Bwisit ka!" Camille blurted out then she slapped my arm, "Wag ka ngang issue! Epal lang talaga 'yun si Juan."

I shrugged, "Sabi mo eh."

"Mag-aral na nga lang tayo, Kassandra."

Camille and I went back to studying. Our last class for today is Math 1 and I'm sure as hell after this class, our minds won't function properly. Lahat ata ng klase ng Math mahirap!
