Y/N and Lauren used to be best friends until they started high school and Y/N changed for the worst. Now that it's finally senior year, will the pair reunite or forever go their separate ways?
Lauren's Pov
When I wake up in the morning I realize it is my last year in school, and for that I am grateful. My plan was to always move to California at the end of senior year with Y/N but I guess that will never happen but it's okay. I will out our dream on my own and be happy without her.
As I am getting ready for school I can't help but taking a look out the window at Y/N's house and see if she's getting ready for school. I miss our old friendship like crazy. Everyone is probably still wondering why we aren't friends. Well, it's because when we got to high school she ditched me to be popular and her friends bully me at school. As I am getting lost in my thoughts I don't pay attention to Y/N looking at me through her window.
Y/n's Pov
I can feel Lauren looking at me through her window like she does every morning we get ready for school. I know we used to be best friends and all but honestly I don't care for her anymore. After my friends dared me to ditch her our freshmen year it kinda stuck. I am aware that they bully her when I'm not around as well but when I am they leave her alone. As I look at her I notice she isn't paying attention and is spacing out. I wonder if she's okay but I'd never ask her. I mean I'm over our friendship, right? If I let go then why can't she?
As I pull into the parking lot at school I see my girlfriend, Billie, and her best friend Niykee standing at the doors waiting on me. I quickly park and rush over to them to hug them both. Billie pecks my lips and leans into me as we discuss tonight's party at Chantel's house which we are all excited for. My group is notorious for hosting/attending the best parties around and the one tonight is for the books.
The rest of the school day goes by in a blur as I am excited for tonight too much.
*Skip to party*
As Billie, Niykee, and I walk into Chantel's party I take notice at all the alcohol and drugs that are available for consumption. I don't like to do drugs but Billie does for fun in small doses and it worries me sometimes.
"We are going to get a drink do you want anything?" I quickly shake my head no at Billie's question and watch them walk into the kitchen. While they are gone I quietly roam the party to see who all is drunk and high or both.
I walk upstairs to check it out and as I reach the top I see a few drunk boys messing around with each other so I go to head back downstairs but before I can take a step down something hard collides with my body and forces me to tumble down the stairs and smash my head against the railing. I'm confused and everything is fading into black.
Lauren's Pov
I just started my volunteering shift at the hospital when Y/N was wheeled in with a bandage wrapped around her head. I suddenly started to panic internally imagining all the scenarios of what happened to her.
Around an hour later I was sitting in her room when she woke up and looked me in the eyes and said, "Do I know you?"
Y/n's Pov
When I woke up I saw the most beautiful emerald eyes staring into mine but I had no idea as to who she was and why I was here. All I could say was "Do I know you?"
