"good morning guys." hoseok yawned, entering the kitchen where kihyun was cooking. "you guys could go back home today."

changkyun stretched, waking jooheon up who was mext to him. "i couldn't sleep well last night." changkyun grumbled.

hoseok frowned. "why not?"

changkyun glared at kihyun, who looked back innocently. "for one, someone was being loud. you guys went all out yesterday." kihyun's cheeks burned. "and the couch is small."

hoseok giggled. "oh." he looked around. "where's hyunwoo?"

"he's went to pick up our children." kihyun replied, flipping the egg on the pan. "is hyungwon sleeping?"

hoseok nodded as he looked fondly back at hyungwon.

"we're going to go home first." jooheon scratched his head, wearing his shoes. changkyun nodded tiredly, clinging to jooheon's arm.

"i wanna sleep." he pouted.

hoseok made a gagging motion, making changkyun drop his cute face and glare at him.

jooheon laughed and ruffled the younger's hair. "let's go home, okay?"

changkyun was tucked tightly under the covers next to jooheon. the two of them were sleeping deeply, since they didn't rest that well the previous night.

"good night." changkyun giggled deeply, awaiting for tomorrow.

"jooheon?" changkyun mumbled, loosing his touch of his husband next to him. "where are you going?" his voice husky.

jooheon kissed changkyun's forehead. "just going to get a cup of water. my throat's dry."

changkyun nodded, his eyes slowly closing again, knowing jooheon will be back in his arms.

but he didn't come back.

changkyun called out jooheon's name, and there was no response from him.

the only response was the front door opening and closing.

changkyun left the warm blankets in search of his lover in the kitchen. all he found was an empty glass on the counter, and his phone lying next to it. it seemed that jooheon had just taken a call.

quickly, changkyun rushed his shoes on and a jacket. he ran out of the house, looking for jooheon in every direction.

"jooheon!" changkyun yelled when he found jooheon walking away. but again, jooheon didn't seem to answer.

changkyun walked slightly behind jooheon, following him and hoping for an answer.

however, he didn't know what awaited him.
