The Five

The Call to Order

Jax is still really pissed at us for teasing him, but it's fun. Besides, he did the same thing when it was Axel's turn yesterday, and he didn't stutter. Anyways... 

Jax finally had the courage to raise his head again, and I have to admit, the remark he was about to make was pretty smart, at least enough to shut Axel up.

Jax: He takes a deep breath. "Look, Axel, I'm fine with the other guys slugging me for liking Sam, but I admit it now." He stands up on his seat, looking around. "To everyone in this cafe, I, Jax Shibasaki, announce my feelings for Sam! I like her, alright?? Good!"

After this statement, everyone was left impressed, even Enzo (who seemed the most at a loss for words). And Sam? She probably heard him, which was most likely since he yelled it aloud. She probably blushed or something whenever he did, and again, that is if she heard him. Jax sits back down with a smirk on his face.

Jax: "Well? Let's see you do that."

L.E.O., Cason, and Enzo: "Ooowned!!!"

Axel's face turned red, now having the situation turned on him.

Cason: "What're you going to do about it, big guy?"

Axel raises his hands in defeat, unfavorable results now in his possession.

Axel: "Fine, I'll stop. Just don't tell Sam about what happened to me yesterday.

The others burst into laughter, including Jax. It doesn't help Axel's situation at all, but I doubt it would.

Axel: "Oh, come on!"

Jax: It was hard for him to speak as he was still crying his eyes out in laughter. "Oh, I will. It's checkmate for me, Axel.

Axel: "I swear to God if you tell Sam, I'll-"

Sam, as if on cue, arrives with their coffees, a little blush. I think she heard Jax, but doesn't say anything about that, instead looking over at Axel due to the unfolding event.

Sam: "Tell me what?" She looked curious, and kept the tray of coffee in her hands.

Axel: He blushes, waving his arms. "N-Nothing, it's nothing!"

Sam chuckles.

Sam: "O-Okay, then, here's the coffee you guys ordered!"

She places said cups of coffee on the table and leaves, and we all take our own cup. Jax had struggled to not say anything about his revelation, chuckling as drinking the coffee was also made a struggle. Axel notices him and kicks him again in the shin with a decent amount of force.

Jax: "H-Hey, hahah!"

L.E.O.: "Okay, guys, the joke had its moment, but now you're just being childish."

Jax and Axel (In unison): "Fine, we'll stop."

Enzo: "Hey, I almost forgot, isn't that new attraction opening today? This one haunted house thing that supposedly has a new surprise in it?" He looks at Jax, then aims his sight towards Axel. "I heard Sam likes those kinds of places... maybe one of you could invite her?"

Jax, beating Axel to the punch, takes lead and stands up quickly. "I'll do it!"

Speaking of punches, Axel does so to Jax's rib once he declares his action.

Jax: "Ow! What, were you planning to ask her out? You can't even admit your feelings for her, let alone ask her out." He sits down.

Cason spurts coffee out his mouth and bursts into laughter, and soon, all of us join him (without the coffee spurting.)

Axel: "Just shut up, I'll find a way."

Jax, rolling his now glowing eyes, chuckles and shakes his head.

Jax: "Yeah, yeah, keep telling yourself that."

I noticed that half of Cason's coffee was on the table, but other than that, we had all drunk our own share of coffee, so I stood up and made my way to the counter to get the check. I also kind of took this as a chance to see what they would do without my presence, knowing very well that they can't stay still for five seconds. Whatever was done though, was interesting.
