When the bell had rung, I had to go check my testing room, since I didn't even remember about the damn test to begin with. I realized I had the same room as Corbin and Lucy, and quickly made my way to said room, and found Lucy at the back row of seats, which is probably the best place to be in tests like these. She was in the left corner, so I sat next to her. "Still studying? Damn." She does nothing but glare at me, quickly going back to her books, which I don't know why she hasn't burnt yet.
Everyone else gets in the room, including Corbin, who sat next to me. The tests were handed out, the procedures were droned out by our teacher, because apparently there's always that one kid that fucks it up for everyone. We start our tests, and just as a put my pencil to the paper, the ground starts to rumble, sounding like Satan himself was about to be unleashed, which wouldn't be so bad now that I think about it. Everyone seemed to already have vanished from the classroom, and Lucy was somehow still focused, so I pulled her by the arm. "Lucy!! The school's crumbling down and you're still in this hellhole taking a test!? We need to get out, and now!!" I had to almost literally drag her along the halls while we- well, I, escaped, whining the whole way about how expensive her books were. Like I care. "Lucy, hush!! Could you stop talking about school for once!! Just be grateful we're not-"Once out of the school, Lucy shut up a bit too suddenly, and it took me a moment to figure out why. It was only me and my friends out here, and another girl who looked just as shocked as we all did. I didn't know her, but I let go of Lucy to go calm her down, since her brainy ass wasn't grateful for me saving her just now. "Hey, are you okay?" Cliche statement to start with, but it's a start, right? "I-I'm fine, a little stunned is all." Her voice seemed small, barely audible from the school crashing down and burning. "Holy shit! What in the absolute hell just happened?" A little rash, aren't you, Corbin? "The school just turned to rubble is what." And there's Deven. Everyone seems rash at the moment, but now that I think about it, I forgot to mention the little voice in my head... people call it conscience, but I just call it Mike. He kept saying how something was going to happen, and how my doom was near, but I thought he was just talking about the test, not... well, this. And here's Mike. This is your fault, Leo... No. Not my fault. I saved Lucy, this can't be my fucking fault. "W-Where's Alkina??" Lucy noticed her absence before any of us, and we looked around, and finally found her rushing out of the building in the nick of time, completely crumbling once she was a distance away. "Ah! I almost lost my laptop!" Alkina is definitely too attached to her boyfriend. Anyway, I need to find out why this happened, and if this really was my fault.
I really hope it wasn't.
