While I was still collapsed on the ground, apparently not moving to everyone else, I noticed something strange... I was in... Hell, if I could choose to describe it. It was odd: I could still hear everyone freaking out, but I seemed to be alone here... all there was around me was fire and red rocks, formations, etcetera. Something caught my attention in the distance, though: a small object on a gravestone that looked like a crystal or gem of some sort. But, what was a gravestone doing here? I just walk over to it and crouch down a bit to read the gravestone. "Blake Miller..." Who is that? I haven't heard of them, ever. Maybe this crystal will kill me or whatever once I get it, but what could go wrong other than that? To hell with this (quite literally)! I took the stone in my hand, and right as I did, I felt myself spinning in circles, and I was dizzy to say the least. After what seemed like eternity later, I shot up into a sitting position, just like Lucy had. Maybe she had gone to some other world as well, who knows? Anyhow, my head hurt, like, really hurt.
"OMG Leo, please don't die!" Lucy is strangely the one overreacting now, despite her having just woken up as well.
"He's fine, just give him a moment." Skyler kind of helped, but it merely dented the others' panic.
I just sat there, rubbing my head in pain and dizziness, then I remembered: the crystal. I felt around my pockets, and conveniently, that's where it was. I took the gem out, and the others hushed, circling in on me to get a closer look.
"Woah, that's cool." Corbin didn't know what I went through to get it, though. Heck, I might've stolen this from that Blake guy on the tombstone!
"Do you know if it does anything?" That's a pretty good question, Alkina. I don't say anything, though, just shrug. I felt around the rigid edges of the crystal, it's red complexities glistening in the young light of the sun.
"It just looks like a crystal." Zephyr might be right, but I still don't know if this even does anything. Deciding to change that, I noticed that it had what looked like a hinge on the side of it. If that was the case, I could probably open it. I attempted to do so, prying at the side of the crystal with my fingers. As for the others, they just watched on, quieting down.
"What do you think will be inside...?" Deven wondered, and as he did, I finally popped the crystal open, and a small key fell onto my lap. I picked it up and contemplated it. It looked like a basic house key...
"Maybe it goes to some mysterious house or something." As crazy as it may sound, Corbin might be right, and it might not even be that crazy now, since all of us are going through these experiences and all that. "I guess it's possible..." I said nothing else, and everyone eventually had their own little transformation.
I wonder why...
