Jennie's POV

"How does this stupid system work? I sent the request 6 hours already and there's still no reply? What kind of stupid system is this? It should have told clients an acceptance or a rejection within Minutes." I rambled on and on, walking to and fro.

"You're making me headache Jendeukie! You sound like you're so desperate to meet her. Stop walking back and forth and come to join me here, Stranger Things season 3 is on."

Do I sound desperate? I was just impatient, that all. Again, why is it taking so long? Well, whatever now, I'd just watch Stranger Things.

It was 11:30 pm on the night of September 22nd when my phone beeped showing a long-awaited notification.

"oh my god unnie! I've got accepted! Yayy! I Jennie freaking Kim got ACCEPTED!" I called Jisoo Unnie once I had filled out all the details required. 

"Yah Jennie Ruby Jane Kim! you're killing my ears! did you just get accepted to Harvard Law School or something?"

I ignored her and went on to send a text message to the girlfriend she just rented.

To Lisa:
Hi! This is Jennie. I saw your acceptance a moment ago. 

A moment later...

From Lisa:
Hi, my beloved girlfriend. You haven't gone to bed yet baby?

I swear I literally cringed inside when my eyes spotted the word "girlfriend" and "baby"

To Lisa:
When should we meet to talk about our deal?

From Lisa:
Tomorrow? Send me your address, I will go and pick you up.

To Lisa:
No, let's meet at the BLINK cafe. I don't even know whether you'll kidnap me or not.

From Lisa:
Haha, you're funny baby! See you tomorrow. Good night, and dream of me ;)

Morning came and a part of me is excited to meet this girlfriend that I'd never seen. I woke up and did my morning routine. An hour later, I left in my Lexus LC 2019 heading to the destination.

When I arrived at the cafe, I roamed my eyes around just to spot a girl sitting idly in her white crop top and black jeans revealing her best body shape. The blonde put her drink down and walked toward my direction once our eyes met.

"Hi girlfriend." The way she spoke and walk sent me a cool aura. I thought she'd be the cute type. Is she really human? she looks like a barbie even in real life.

"em ... h-hi" shit Jennie, why are you stuttering!

"let's go to our seat, people are staring baby." She whispered to my ear which sent shivers all over my body. What's wrong with you Jennie!

"So, let us properly introduce ourselves." I said with a stern voice. I had to sound like I didn't really want all these things (which was a fact) so I won't look like a beggar asking for a pity for being single.

"Hi, my name is Jennie, Jennie Kim." I initiated.

"Okay, hi, my name is Lisa. Just Lisa."

"Alright, Just Lisa. Let's make our deal quick so we both could have a proper breakfast."

"Ms. Kim. My name is Lisa. Not "just" Lisa."

"Then what is your full name."

"I don't have to tell you that." Wow, is she some kind of criminals? Anyway, she sounds cold as well. Why did I even think she's cute?

"Please rest assured that I'm not some kind of criminals who ran out of jail." Can she read mind too?

"No, I can't read mind. I just understand human behavior." I spoke while taking a sip of her seemed to be like iced chocolate.

"Okay, you're creeping me out. Stop reading me!" It does scare me that she could actually know what I was thinking? Should I run? Oh my god! I panicked.

"Alright, alright! Don't be scared. I won't do it again, promised!" I nodded. A part of me trusted her assurance.

"Anyway, let's start our business talk. Here's the rules from my company and some of them are the rules I made myself." She then handed me the list of rules looking like terms and conditions before making a purchase online.

[Rules:
1. Don't ask about the Charm's private life.

2. You can hold hands, but there should be no kisses, at any part of the body, at any place, of anytime, unless of course, you get the charm's consent.

3. The price for our best charm is 1,000,000Won per day.

4. Our charm can do as much as hug, hold hand, or kiss you, but there should be no sex involved.

5. You don't recognize our charm out of the working period. Basically, you two are a stranger to each other.

6. Payment can only be by cash.

7. Meeting time and place should be based on the agreement of both parties.

8. THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE: NEVER TELL ANYONE ABOUT THIS RELATIONSHIP.

"Are you a princess?" I asked after reading all those ridiculous rules. I was hiring her as my fake girlfriend, right? Not the other way around?

"No." She answered.

"Oh wait! Oh my god! are you a celebrity?" I don't want all those cameras following me around.

"No." She then leaned closer. Her mouth is near the tip of my ear.

"From now, I am your girlfriend." she whispered.
