I started composing a list of the top-ten male dancers[testing my memory]; I was going to challenge KENNY to compile his own list, so we could compare how many 'hits' we had on our list; I quickly realized that I'd need to find a list of the top-twenty; could you list twenty names?here is the list that I compiled[in the order the names 'came to me']:NUREYEVPatrick SwayzeGregory HinesBob FosseBARYSHNIKOVEdward VillellaPinky LeeTommy TuneRay BolgerFred AstaireGene KellyDick Van DykeMickey RooneyStep and Fetch It

I count eighteen, even though I was thinking of Bill Robinson, when I wrote "Step and Fetch It;" there is one more face, that I couldn't fetch the name for, so before checking the 'top-ten' lists, I did some , and found DONALD O'CONNOR doing a dance-medley with GENE KELLY[with 49 similar videos].

Here are the 'hits' I scored:

In the Greatest Dancers of All Time, #5 was Damita Jo Freeman[the girl from Soul Train]; I scored six hits, missing #7/The Nicholas Brothers[Harold & Fayard], #6/Jeffrey Daniel & #1/James Brown.

When TAPPING, I scored fairly high; Dance Magazine interviewed contemporary tap dancers;

National Tap-Dance Day thought that Christopher Walken should have made my list;

John Travolta[?],... really?

...ballerinos gave me 'hits' on the Top-Two[out of ten/20%]; if you already have an account, you may wish to SAVE a few of these PINS[buzzdotdancechanneltvdotcom] ; while I might be scoring higher than you, I should have scored even higher; for forty/years, I 'ran' a followspot, while many of these performers practiced their terpsichore;

NUREYEV actually knocked me off-my-stool, with an impossibly 'airish' leap,' at the Civic Center[Atlanta] one night, after his 1961 defection to the West.
