A retired US Navy captain used to be an assiduous explorer of old maps and puzzles. At the request of a friend, he travels to Istanbul to unravel the secrets of an ancient Ottoman map from the 15th century - the Piri Réis Maps. However, the logic of cartography and the limitations of the time deepened the doubts and mysteries behind the development of those maps.

I began writing my manuscripts[mss], for Pod People[fifth book], in order to engage the fellas, in a dream-like fantasy, where the facility was decommissioned, and converted to a homeless-shelter, that would become self-sustaining, and serve 19 rural southwest Georgia counties.
