Sugar and Spice

Leaving

          *Later that night

        Annie and I decided to go. I checked with Peeta before I went to bed and he said that they were going. The tour was supposed to last for a month. My one big worry was the baby. We're not actually sure when Annie will have the baby.

         After our dinner Annie and I got in bed. I kissed her forehead and whispered,"I love you,"she smiled. I laid down and stared up at the ceiling until I closed my eyes and drifted off.

        *The next morning at 9:00 am

         I woke up abruptly to find that Annie wasn't in bed. I checked the bathroom and the kitchen but I couldn't find her anywhere. "Annie!" I called.

       "I'm in the closet!" She answered behind the closed door. I walked in to find her packing a bag up. I got down with her and helped pack too. We got everything ready so I brought our bags to the front door and got dressed. We quickly ate breakfast and started toward the train station at 10:00. Perfect timing I thought to myself. As we walked towards it some people watched us with bags in our hands, curiosity in their eyes. It's been a while since we've been out of the house.

         We arrived at the train station at exactly 10:40. After 15 minutes I started to hear the sound of the fast train on it's hover board- like magnets. It finally lurched to a heavy stop in front of us. We started towards the main door, I tried opening it but it was securely shut closed. I backed away from it, out of the corner of my eye I saw a curtain from one of the small windows move.

         Then the door opened, taking a while for the person behind to force the heavy, metal door open.

        Standing in front of the door was Katniss. She smiled, but I could tell she was still weak. "Hello Katniss. How are you doing on this fine morning?" I flashed my best smile.

        "I'm doing great! Hi Annie! It's so good to see you again!"

        I left the two of them to walk while I was directed by an Avox, though of course this time she didn't look pained, more pleased. I followed her to what was going to be our and room and set our bags down on the large bed.

       I left the room to go back into the living/dining quarters of the train. I walked in to find Peeta, Katniss, Annie, and Johanna talking away happily. I guess they were just happy to see each other.

        Peeta greeted me with a warm hello and Johanna, being the Smart Alec she is just smirked at me.

         We talked out how our District's were changing and Johanna talked about how much of a pain it is to still have to go everywhere for "Capital Duties."

         As we were chatting a lady walked in with shoulder length dark brown hair, just on the brink of black, blue green eyes, and bright white teeth. "Hello! I'm Mattie! But you can just call me Mat. I was just coming to tell you that Beetee was already transferred to the Capital so our last stop is just District 2 to pick up Gale. A matter a factly we just arrived."

         With that she turned on her heels and started out the door that lead to some other part of the train.

         Just as she left I felt the train lurch to a stop. Peeta went over to open the door, I noticed that Katniss looked pained. Peeta opened the door.

          Standing there was Gale holding his luggage with one hand and the other was wrapped around the waist of a girl. Oh god I though.

           "Hi everyone! This is Rosemary," Gale said. Everyone just stared in amazement.
