Little Things // louis
IT'S always the little things you remember most about a person. the little things that paste themselves with super glue to your brain making it hard to wipe them away. but maybe sometimes, you don't want to forget. sometimes it's the little things that keep you going in life. it's weird, but it's normal at the same time.
louis remembers the way her eyes would lighten up whenever she had an idea. he remembers how she'd speak quickly -- but clearly -- making motions with her hands whenever she was discussing something. she was never afraid to share her thoughts, but not in a bitchy way, if that makes any sense. it always made conversations with her interesting.
he blames himself for the empty space in bed, the empty passenger seat whenever he drives to the movies or pizza hut. he hates himself for not being enough. he beats himself up everyday for not being there for her when she needed him most. for not saying the things she needed to hear oh so badly.
maybe he should try harder to wipe away those little things from his mind, to wash away that stupid super glue keeping those bitter-sweet memories because it doesn't look like she's coming back. it doesn't look like she's ever gonna step another foot into this room.
