                     IT'S the effort you put into it that counts. it's the fact that you tried and didn't give up. the bad luck rolling your way, crushing you on it's way, yet you didn't give up. bad things happen, it's inevitable. i don't believe that there is one person that has everything go their way. that everything is perfect in their life. and if there is, something bad is bound to happen -- not to rain on your parade or anything.

                        louis felt that everyone around him was lucky, that nothing bad ever seemed to happen to them. it all just seemed to tumble towards him. the thing was, he was too caught up in his mourning and self pity to notice how his other mates felt. he was being selfish, but it wasn't really his fault he was in pain, or was it? maybe he didn't try enough. maybe she needed him more. maybe it was his fault that the person he loved was now gone. gone... he didn't even get to say those three words he was confident were true. maybe it was his fault. maybe, maybe, maybe.

                  just the thought that maybe she didn't love him after everything, brought him to tears. he cried and cried like a baby. he cried and cried beacause she didn't love him. he cried and cried until he was exhausted and there was probably no more water left in his body. he didn't even try to stop himself from thinking back to when she had said her goodbye. he let the thoughts pain him, convincing himself that it was his fault. that he was just stupid. that he didn't deserve anything good in his life. 

                and just like that his mind was set. no one cared about someone as stupid and selfish as him. no one could ever love someone like him. that's why he was determined to stay locked up in this room. (nice way to try and move on, huh?)
