My name is Nick. I am a human and this is important in the story that is to come. I was first elected as a general for the special expedition to Zeon. Zeon was a new planet the US Nasa and Marines had discovered. It was a whole new planet and filled with mysteries. However the first 100 Scientists who had landed with 3,000 armed men had never returned. There last message had been unclear but there had been something of, "Creatures, Aliens... English speak..." And after that there had been no sound, just the fall of the mic. Now I had been elected a minor general with a group of 10,000 men under my comand. In all we were 1 million people swarming in on the planet.
The troops had been armed with many high tech guns and other weapons. We had laser bombs and nuclear gear, also armor and huge amounts of oxygen as this was crucial. The last expedition was not able to send us back any reports on the oxygen on Zeon. The landing would take place after 2 months in the ships and we would be ready for anything to come!
It was a good thing that I had been able to secure the place as a general for myself. That way I would have a minor part in the attacks and could help devise plans. I only had a wife and we often did not get along too well. I did not worry about her because, I knew she would by the time I came back be sleeping with another man in bed. We had never wanted children, I in particular, because that would mean they might lose their father anytime.
On Febuary 10, 4508 we set out for Zeon.
