“Hey, Kathy are you free this Saturday?”
Translucent green orbs stare at me determined. Nat? I stare at him sleepily, damn I fell asleep in class. What did he just ask me?
“Sorry Nat say that again” I groaned groggily.
He raised his eyebrow, and slightly smiled. Shit, I quickly wiped the drool from the side of my cheek. Immediately I feel my face burning, how embarrassing.
“I said are you free this Saturday?”
“As a matter of fact I am, you’re lucky we’re still in fall season, I would’ve had a race
.” I chuckled light heartedly.
“Is that so well I guess i got lucky. Wanna hang out at my place?”
“I would love to! I havent been there in ages.”
As he opens his mouth the bell rings.
“Come to my house at 3! See ya!”
He quickly gathers his items and bolts out the door. That’s strange I’ve never seen him in such a rush. Oh well, I can't believe i got invited over. As soon as the thought crossed my mind my stomach was bombarded with butterflies. I could feel the heat spread across my cheeks. Holy shit I’m going to Nat’s house, I need to calm down obvious nothing’s going to happen.

The day quickly comes to an end, as i talk to my crew coach Ruth slides beside me. I immediately end the conversation with Coach P, snatch Ruth’s wrist and sprint into the locker room.
“Ruth i got invited to Nat’s house on Saturday.”
“Make sure you use protection.”
“Ruth shut up nothing’s going to happen but I’m freaking out so badly. I’m so nervous.”
“Dont worry you still have two days to calm down, Im sure everything will go smoothly.”
She’s right I still have two days, I’m fine. I get home, shower and get to bed. As usual I fall asleep with the faint image of his eyes smiling in my mind.
_____
Two days came and went, Nat hasn't talked to me or even made eye contact. I dont get it first he invites me over then he completely ignores me? What the hell is going on in that mind of his. I haven't even gotten a text. It’s 1 in the afternoon and I am freaking out. What do I wear? How should I style my hair? Should I put makeup on or should i go for the more natural approach? UGHHHH. This is stressing me out. vffttt vfft.A text? Maybe it’s Nat.
