I just wanted to do something sweet because I already wrote an Shaylan one-shot so I wanted to do a Cashby one. I dedicate this to all of you amazing people that comment and take the time to read my stories. You have no idea how much that means to me that you love my writing. <3 Even though I'm not going to be an author, I'm going to be a MUSICIAN, this helps me practice grammar and such. Plus, who doesn't love a good fan fiction? I hope my fans write fan fictions of Austin Carlile and I or Alan Ashby and I. God, I can't wait. XD

Also, I dedicate this to @AlexSwagskarth because she's been having a hard time and please, check out her stories and just love her because I love her to death and I want her to smile. I want ALL of you to smile and be happy, and if you don't love YOURSELF, then god dammit, I am determined to show you that you are worth everything. Stay strong, alright? No matter what, don't give up.

Enjoy the one-shot. :) ;) <3

--------

Austin had never had a best friend like Alan before, and to know that a man as sweet and hilarious as Alan could ever be sad tore him a part. Alan had always been talking about him, everywhere and at every moment. It annoyed Austin, but he would never admit that to the beautiful red head, afraid that Alan would get offended.

It had been after the third day of Warped Tour- they were performing in Wisconsin, and everything had seemed fine. Shayley had came by with a bouquet of roses and Alan was absolutely excited, and found his ex boyfriend to be the best guy in the whole world. Austin was hanging out with the rest of the crew, and his jaw clenched when he watched the two interact. He should've been supportive and happy for Alan, but he wasn't, and maybe he was selfish for that... But he had such a bad feeling about the ex-bassist.

After the show, Alan had seemed fine, but then he just suddenly got up and left his beer, heading towards the tour bus. Austin stood there and watched from a distance, and he had noticed Shayley probably left early. Austin walked quickly after Alan, but not too close, in case Alan got really uncomfortable or lashed out. Alan hurried onto the tour bus and almost immediately, so was the 6'4 man child.

Austin bit his lip softly as he heard faint sobbing coming from the back room, and his heart ached to hear that his best friend's cries were almost sound like he was in pain. "Alan?" He asked softly, and calmly walked down the isle of bunks to go to the back room. He got no answer, but when he gently pushed down the latch to enter the room, Alan groaned.

"Don't come in here!"

Austin stopped moving instantly, and he gulped and let out a trembled breath. "Alan, come on. It's me, Austin. I'm your best friend. Let me in, man. We can talk about what ever is making you upset. You seemed fine a couple hours ago when Shayley-..."

Then the burst of sobs suddenly appeared again, and Austin wanted to kick himself for probably pouring salt over the painful wound. He gently opened the door and peeked inside, turning on the light, and he hurried over to Alan. Alan was curled up in a ball, sniffing and trembling, and he gripped onto the leather material of the couch cushion.

Austin gently sat down on the end of the couch, and gingerly touched Alan's leg, and squeezed. "What happened...? I didn't mean to bring up something personal. I'm just worried about you, Al." He gently grazed his finger tips along Alan's skinny jeans and leaned over, gently brushing Alan's hair out of his face. Alan sniffed and pouted, his cheeks stained with tears, and his bottom lip quivered.

"No, it's okay... Shayley... He..." Alan tried not to break down again, and Austin gently pulled him up so he was almost sitting on his lap, and the taller man of the two wrapped his arms around his waist and held him close, resting his chin onto his head. Alan trembled and sniffed, snugglgin into Austin's tattooed neck lightly.
