I screamed, my heart was beating and I could not believe what was in front of me. it wasn't a human who had just spoke, but..a painting...the painting was nothing but black, the only thing that was in sight was a pair of white monsterly huge eyes with a smile that went from ear to ear showing pointy sharp teeth. It's eyes, it's mouth, they moved?! My breathing rate went faster and faster

"W-what are you"

"Well what are you?"

Its mouth went into a grin..

And it eyed me up and down with its pure white eyes.

"I'm quite hungry, I heard your looking for who ever made those foot steps, are you in for a trade" It smirked

"Y-yes I am..what do you want.."

he squinted his eyes

"I would love to slurp down that jacket of yours..hand it over and I tell you which way!"

"M-my jacket?" I set down my candle and pushed off my jacket.

"I-is this what you want?" I leaned it close to him trying to stand back as far as possible. He eyed it than bit it almost taking my hand with it. I snapped back and watched as he slurped it down till it had completely vanished.

"The foot steps you were looking for are down that ah way human." He grinned and in a flash of an eye black ink slid down a hallway opening. Shocked I watched as it dripped down. I don't under stand what just happend, but I have a feeling something weird like this will appear again. Watching the creature out of the corner of my eye I quickly jogged to the opening. My candle oil was about to go out as I made my way down the hallway and I was freezing, that beast took my jacket and left me only with my school clothes I shivered and came close to my only source of light.

"Hello?"

I lifted up my candle and breathed heavily

than a door appeared, it would most likely be locked, but I must at least give it a try. I wiggled the handle and to my surprise it jolted right open but it stopped halfway when I heard a loud

'Bang'

"Wha-"

I looked on the other side of the door to see a little girl rubbing her head.

"Ouch"
