I continued down the hallway with guilt rising from me. What's wrong with me, why did I just leave her, why did I do it so easily? I didn't want to believe I was the only human here, the only one who wanted to escape. Everything was quiet except for the flicker of my candle and the loud clicks of each step I took, even my own breath. I was getting rather tired but I was pretty sure I wouldn't get any sleep soon. Pretty soon I passed a few more doors before I decided to open one and rest in one of the bed. The door was unlocked, and a queen sized bed stared at me.

"thank the lord" I whispered

I set down everything and jumped on the bed which was suprisenly uncomfortable. Before I could complain more I felt myself begin to slip.

sinagain, Sinagain, what lovely lavender scent

Sinagain, Sinagain, when does this path end?

Smite the evil and burn the bad, don't you know that we're all mad.

Sinagain, Sinagain, I don't want to sin again...

A loud bang interrupted my slumber and I woke up shivering. What was that? My candle was long gone and it was very dark, searching the room trying to get use to the dark atmosphere I opened the door and peered out.

A teddy bear.

no

Not just any teddy bear

The one from the glass box.

I slowly walked towards it hoping it wouldn't jump on me like I saw in most horror movies.

"Well hello there...nice teddy..."

I patted its head and jumped back awaiting for the out come, and well nothing happend

"Oh...fantastic"

I smiled and picked it up, it smelled like pure lavender.

"I wonder who you belong t- look at me..talking to a bear.." I sighed

"Let's go...I'll call you teddy"

With my new companion..I continued down the core-door. I was too tired to be frighten but I found myself squeezing teddy abnormally hard against my chest. Good thing he wasn't alive or I'm sure I would have suffocated him by now.

"Teddy, you wouldn't happen to know a way out hm?" I rubbed my eyes and chuckled a little to find myself talking to teddy once more. But hey, I guess another way to keep my sanity. my smile was only on for a second before I heard a loud bang like the one I heard before. I turned around to find a stone figure. A sculpture? Wasn't sure, all I knew is that thing was not there before. "Look teddy, company..." I whispered before running the heck as far as my brittle body could get me. My breath was faster but the adrenalin kept me going Intel I could take no more..

"Think we lost him teddy?" I said under my breath

But sure enough another bang was heard right behind me.

I twisted around to find the sculpture of a head right behind me. I've been through just enough! I walked towards it and kicked it, ignoring the agonizing pain from kicking pure rock.

"WHADYA WANT?" I yelled

No response, thank The Lord.

"I hope this thing doesn't follow us forever, teddy." As soon as I finished that sentence the thing..the thing started moving towards me, and really fast too. I screamed like a 9 year old and ran as it chased me. It hopped like a bunny, but I was too out of breath to even crack a smile also being horrified as well. It chased me to a dead end and i was sure this was MY dead end.

"Teddy do something!" I threw my bear as my last hope at the statutes face and it..stopped? There was a door behind me and I wiggled it.

"Nope, not opening! Don't open for little girls"
