"Oh?" I looked at the little girl she rubbed her fore head fastly than lifted her head up as her eyes met mine, she screamed..

"Y-YOUR NOT LIKE THE OTHER MONSTERS ARE YOU?" She quickly stood and shuffled backwards

"Other monsters? I hope not, wait..MONSTERS?" I shivered "you mean there's more of those guys?!"

She looked at me and shuffled back a bit more

"Answer my question first, are

You one of them?"

"N-no, I'm lost, do you know a way out?"

"thank The Lord, another human" she begun to run towards me and she was too fast for me to react. She jump hugged me.

"Wha-?"

She looked up at me with a concerned look

"No I don't believe there is any other way out" she frowned and let go

I hung my head, what do I do?

"But I think there's a back door, I mean why wouldn't there be? Maybe we can search for it together!" she glanced at me with a hopeful smile. and my hope went up a little as well

"That's true, let's look for it together"

We started walking side by side down the thin hallway. she looked like she was going to barf any moment, poor kid, I wonder how long she's been stuck here.

"I hope we don't run into any monsters" she whispered

I glanced at her. More monsters? I shivered looking at what I met earlier I hope it doesn't get any more worse than that.

"I'm sure we will be fine" I said trying to make her feel better.

"I hope so" she looked a little better, but I kept my distance, with nothing to wear I wouldn't want a throw up stained shirt. we met a three way split and I shrugged and started to walk to the middle.

"D-don't go there! I've been there already and there's a scary thing down there" she cried

I stopped in my tracks

"O-oh, where should we go?"

I eyed the right and the left hallway. I had no idea where each of them led, but I was frightened to see what the out come would be.

"The left" She pointed towards the hallway, and I thought for a second if I should trust a ten year old, but, I don't have much of a choice anyways.

"Okay.."

We walked in the hallway for a moment

"My names Sarah" she whispered

I didn't want to tell her my name just In case she was one of those monsters

"What a pretty name"

it wasn't long intel we reached a door. I glanced at her and turned the handle, really, how big is this mansion. It's like it's leading us in a direct place, we've never been down the same place twice and it's felt like we've been here

For at least 7 hours maybe longer. I opened the door and it led to a living room type place. There was a couch and a small table with..a window! I smiled and rushed towards it.

"Maybe we can escape from here!" My hope was bursting out the roof, in till I saw something that made me Ill..there was no bottom. There wasn't even a sky, just a space that was corrupted with no color,

Only

Black

"W-what,

Why..."

I shook and wanted to hope this was a dream. Where are we..

"What's wrong mis?" She glanced at me concerned. I didn't want her to loose hope or be frightened of what I just saw, so I kept my reaction hidden and quickly closed the curtain around the window.

"We are too far up to get down from here, we'll die if we jump" I put on a fake smile. "Maybe we can find a another window that's more closer to the ground"

She tilted her head downwards.

"Okay, let's just hurry and dump this place"

I nodded and looked around the room. Our candle only had minutes before it would go out, and I needed a replacement fast. I scurried threw the desk that was nearby and all I found. Was a simple note.

"There is no haven, no escape, nothing. I've been in this mansion for what seems like years. I drove myself into thinking there was a way out, that I would find myself free once again. But instead, I drove myself mad. The women in the mirror tells me to join her. To set my brittle hands on the reflection of her own , her portal to the unknown, to hell. When will this end, do those monsters never fill. A man with eyes like the sky says he will help me, I hope he keeps his word"

I froze, this man has been here

For years..YEARS?! I put the paper down. The women in the mirror, the man with eyes like the sky? Are those other obstacles we will come across, what I want to know is where he is now. Is he dead? The ground rumbled and the ceiling fell.

"SID" I heard her yell, but how would she know my name? Did I tell her at one point. I snapped out of my thoughts and ran towards her. She was on the other side of the entry but crumbles of the hold house blocked her way through

"S-Sid can you get threw?" She shuddered

I tried finding a hole, a way to get to the other side but there was none.

"I can't, I'm sorry." I whispered "maybe if we continue on I can get to the other side. Or we can meet up agai-"

"NO I DONT WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE." She cried

"There's no other way, we can't sit here."

I started walking backwards. She was frightening me a little, and a thought came across my mind "what if she was another one of those monsters" I backed up threw the nearest door.

"We will meet up again I promise just keep moving" I walked out the door and I could hear her screaming.

"NO IB, DONT LEAVE ME HERE ALONE"
