Chapter 4:Jealous

Chapter 4:

Blake's POV:

I stepped out of the studio, taking a sip from my water bottle casually. Reece came out with her custom Gibson still strapped around her and caught up with me.

"Dude , that was a rad vocal track you did."

I smiled.

"Thanks. Your guitar playing was pretty sick too."

She and I fist bumped and she began putting up her guitar onto the stand. She ripped the bottle from my hand and drank the rest of it.

"Oh wow, I didn't realize your vocal chords got so sore from pressing your fingers on some strings.", I said.

"Yeah, well, it takes skill to move your hands that fast."

We looked at each other, taking in what had just been said, then burst into fits of laughter.

"Oh god, I forgot.", she said suddenly, pulling her phone out.

"What?"

"I'm supposed to meet Damon in fifteen minutes."

"Oh.", I sighed. She was spending a lot of time with Damon lately. After we moved into our new apartment and she found out who all lived there(aka Damon), we stopped talking.

"Well, I'm sure Kevin would enjoy some company, seeing as all his bandmates ditched him."

It was true. Alix asked everyone to go with him to see his distant family members up in Canada. Manny, Evan, and Alix went, but Kevin didn't have his passport ready before the day of their flight. So Kevin told them to go on without him. And that was fine, but I knew he'd get bored. So I took out my phone and seized the opportunity.

"Hello?"

"Hi."

"Blake?"

"Yep!", I said excitedly. He chuckled on the other end.

"I figured you were bored out of your mind and-oh my fuck!", I said tripping over a wire.

"Hello? Are you okay?"

"Ow..."

"Blake?", he inquired.

"Yeah...I tripped over a wire. Anyways," I said, pulling myself off of the ground.

"I'm leaving the studio now and I was wondering if you'd like some company."

"Yeah, sure. Sounds great. Is Reece coming too?"

Ugh...everyone wants Reece. I couldn't blame him. She was taller and slimmer and prettier and all I wished I could be.

"Nah, she's going to chill with Damon.", I replied.

"Cool. I won't have to be all secretive."

I heard a hint of a smirk in his tone, making a smile appear on my face.

"Alrighty then. See ya."

"See you."

I hung up and slipped my phone into my pocket to avoid any other wire conflicts. I eventually made it to the truck with Reece and let her drive. She was dropping me off at Kevin's and then heading back to our apartment complex to hang out with Damon.

In which she did. I got out at Ghost Town's place, currently occupied by only Kevin. I stepped into the gate and knocked on the door. Then I mentally slapped myself, noticing the shiny doorbell in which I pressed.

Kevin came to the door and welcomed me in with a smile . As we were walking in the hallway I was looking at all of the ghost art . I saw a very familiar one so I got a closer look OMG IT'S THE CREEPY GIRL I DREW FOR THEM. "So do you want to watch a movie ?" asked Kevin. "Sure why not." I replied back to him. As we sat down on the couch I noticed all the movies they had along the wall . "Pick a movie " said Kevin so I stood up and walked to the wall. "Hey watch out for that wire " he said as he began to laugh he was making fun if my clumsiness. I rolled my eyes at him and looking forward quickly I tripped over the wire on the floor. Kevin stood up and walked over to me sticking his hand out . I got up on my own and picked out the most blood involved movie they had.

As I sat down Kevin looked at me and smirked. "What..." I asked him checking my reflect on my phone screen. "Nothing it's just most girls would be like OMG KEVIN and you are like oh hi Kevin " He said looking at me . I nodded my head slowly and turned to the TV screen all the lights were off in the house so it was pitch black. I usually don't get scared on movies but this one is pretty scary. A face popped up out of nowhere and I dug my head into Kevin's chest. "Sorry I" I said pulling away slowly he grabbed me and pulled me back into the cuddle position . He looked at me and then let me go "Sorry " he said and then he sigh . I decided I should text Reece to see if she made it to Damon's house yet.I didn't get a reply back until moments later and it said "Hanging out with Damon text ya later" . I was blown off by her again this was starting to really upset me.

I soon began to get tired so I decided to call Reece and get her to pick me up. Every time I tried to call it went straight to voice mail . " you can stay here I will sleep on the couch" Kevin offered . I was afraid at first but if he was going to do something he would have done it by now. I nodded my head in agreement . He got a blanket out off Manny 's room . I lay in his bed with a million thoughts running through my head. There was a knock on the door and I said to come in. Kevin sat on the end of the bed " I can't sleep what about you " he asked me . I looked at him "I never sleep" I said giggling. He climbed in bed and we began chatting about everything going on. I soon feel asleep in the comfort of his arms. I woke up to my phone ringing I grabbed it and Reece was calling me . "Hello why didn't you ever return my calls last night,?" I asked her . "I was hanging out with Damon. " She replied. "Oh so he is your best friend now?" I asked her. There was moments of silence then she hung up on me . I slammed my phone down"Fuck, fuck, fuck," I said causing Kevin to wake up
