11-year-old Bridgit wipes off her knife and sets it back down on her dresser. She smiles at her reflection in the mirror. "Daddy!" She calls for Jeff.
"Ye-- Bridgit! What did you do to your face?!" Jeff says as he comes into the room, kneeling down to her height as he wiped blood off of her face.
"I made it better! Now I'm beautiful, just like you!" She says excitedly.
Jeff sighs. "Bridgit, how many times have I told you that this," he picks up her knife, "is not a toy! It's a tool, and if you can't use it correctly, I'm going to have to take it away."
"No! That's not fair!" Bridgit shouts.
"Should've thought about that before you used it on yourself," Jeff replies.
"UGH!" She exits her room and goes into a random one, slamming the door behind her. It happened to be Silver's room.
"B-Bridgit? Wh-what are you d-doing in here?" Lost Silver asks. As soon as she turns around to face him, his eyes widen. "D-did Jeff..?" He asks, beginning to get angry with Jeff for hurting his princess.
"No, why would you think he'd hurt me?" Bridgit says, trying to calm down and not get angry with Silver. He's already nervous enough as it is.
He simply shrugs. Jeff completely changed when he brought Bridgit back to the mansion. In fact, you couldn't tell he knew what feelings were. Bridgit only knows him as he is, so no one bothers to tell her how he once was.
"Nevermind. I'm j-just glad you're ok-kay." He smiles shyly and a blush creeps on to his face. Bridgit smiles.
"Thanks for the concern, but I did this myself. Now I'm pretty just like daddy!" Her eyes light up with joy.
Silver frowns. "Bridgit, you've always been beautiful and you always will be. You don't need to change a thing about yourself." The boy floats over to Bridgit, his arms glitching in. Tears had started down the poor girl's face, and Silver wipes them away, pulling her into his arms. She cries into his shoulder.
"What's wrong princess?" Silver asks, all traces of shyness gone. He needed to know what caused his Bridgit to be upset.
"Th-the people outside the m-mansion s-said I was ug-ugly!" She says between sobs. Silver wondered why the opinion of random strangers mattered so much to the girl. He decided that he'd make them pay for upsetting her later.
"They don't know what they're talking about. You're beautiful, inside and out." He kisses the top of her head and holds her until she cries herself to sleep.
