Willowpaw woke up, surprisingly not by his mentor. It was about moonhigh, had he really slept this late? why hadn't Aspenblaze woken him up?

He stood up and stretched before walking out of the den to see Nettlestar on the Tallrock, about to call a Clan meeting. "Let all cats old enough to run the moor gather beneath the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!" His deep meow rang all around the open clearing.

The leader sighed, looking down regretfully. He lifted his chin back up, "Cats of WindClan," He began. "as you know, Sunstreak has gone missing."

Willowpaw was lost in thought, thinking about what could've happened. Maybe he was snatched by a twoleg? Or snatched by a hawk? Or maybe he was murdered.. well, probably not murdered. He thought to himself.

As the leader cleared his throat, beginning to speak again, Willowpaw snapped out of his thoughts. "We don't know what happened, but I would like border patrols more often," Nettlestar's acorn brown fur was shining in the sun as he spoke. "kits may not leave camp, and apprentices must always leave with two warriors and another apprentice unless they are training."

Nettlestar looked firmly at all of the cats, making eye contact. "Oh, and I would like night patrols to be organized." Cats murmured in agreement as Nettlestar gave a subtle nod. "This Clan meeting is over. You may all return to what you were doing, Lavendersky will soon organize night patrols." He gave a firm nod to his deputy as the white molly nodded back.

Willowpaw walked over to the fresh-kill pile, he picked up a plump mouse by it's tail and laid down to eat it. It was late, but in his defense he had slept all day and hadn't eaten. He was still a little annoyed with Aspenblaze for not waking him up. Just then a small tan molly with beautiful blue eyes approached him. "Hey, Willowpaw." She greeted him, then grabbing a small rabbit from the pile. He looked over at her, "Oh, hey, Lilypaw." He smiled, flicking his tail in greeting.

The she-cat took a bite of her rabbit, waiting until she had finished to speak. "How's your training going?" She asked once she was done. "It's going well," Willowpaw began, gulping down the bite he had just taken of his mouse. "but we got rained out yesterday." Lilypaw nodded, "Yeah, it came down really bad." She took another bite of her rabbit.

Willowpaw looked down, seeing that he had finished his mouse. "Well, I'm going to go head to the den, I'll see you in the morning if I'm not asleep by the time you come." He meowed, standing up. Lilypaw chuckled and nodded to him, flicking her tail as a goodbye.

Willowpaw trotted off to the apprentices' den and laid down in his nest. He curled up, letting himself drift into a sleep.

Willowpaw woke up by himself this morning, letting out a loud yawn. He sat up, eyes half open. He finally stood up and stretched, walking out of the den. He bumped into his mentor, who was heading over to come wake him up. "Sorry!" Willowpaw stuttered nervously, backing up. "Don't worry about it," Aspenblaze said in his usual friendly tone, chuckling a bit, "come on let's go."

He walked with his mentor to the exit of the camp and out into WindClan's territory.
