Chapter 3 (Leo)

i sat there with my head in my hands, I shed a few tears. but I know how to pull myself together. "pull yourself together Valdez" i said to myself aloud. "nobody cares that you got your feelings hurt by a girl you have a crush on".

I just wonder why she doesn't want to see me, or want me around. I mean, I did apologize, I said sorry I'm not trying to be rude.

I just really want to get to know her better but she seems to be pushing me away. " get over yourself no one wants to get to know you better" I told myself again. I have to get my mind off things, I'm just going to move my shelter so i don't have to see her everyday.

maybe that'll help, not seeing her and it will make her happy not seeing me. so I grabbed all my belongings which wasn't a lot. just the blanket she gave me and my tools from my tool belt. and I walked down the beach till i was out of sight of her cave. on my way I found a big piece of plywood that would help me build a new shelter. this shelter was a lot better then the last and I build a fire pit and started a fire.

I somewhat went inland for my shelter I didnt want her to find me on the beach. yeah so what i was kinda hiding. don't judge me. I know she found me because she kept leaving me food, or maybe it was just the invisible servants. if she did find me she didn't bother to stay or ask questions I think she knew I was trying to hide.

which was fine by me, I can tell when I'm not wanted. I kept exploring the island hoping I wouldn't see her. of course I did but she never paid me any attention.

I would just continue to go about my day I would fix things here she had a broken fountain I thought I would just fix it and help her out. it's been what? a week? Maybe 2 I don't know its hard to tell time here.

1 day I was walking and and tripped and fell and broke her bench. I fixed it as fast as I could, it didn't take long. as I was fixing it she finally came up to me. "hey" she said i looked up and said "what's up" " I know you said sorry last time but now it's my turn, I'm really sorry leo. I didn't mean to hurt you, and I didn't mean it the way you took it. I thought you were really cute and really funny and that's why I didn't want to be anywhere near you." She said.

that really got me angry cus if she liked me and thought I was cute and funny why didn't she want to be near me?. I wanted to yell at her but I bit my tongue. I was tired of fixing things around the island I wanna fix things between me and her and actually get to know her. " it's whatever calypso. I think we got off on the wrong foot, I really wanna get to know you better and actually talk." I said. " I would like that too". She said "but I can't". "why not?." I said getting angry. she says she wants to get to know me but she can't she says she thinks im cute and funny but she stays away from me and says she doesn't want to see me.

I was so tired of it right when i finished fixing the bench I stood up and said " the bench to fixed. if you ever wanna stop ignoring me ill be at my shelter. See ya." I took off running....................
