Chapter 4 (Calypso)

"I have to fix this" I thought to myself. " but how?" someone said behind me, I turned around to see, Aphrodite the goddess of love.

" Aphrodite" I said as I bowed my head. " hello Calypso" the goddess said, " how may I help you?" I asked her. " it's not how you can help me, but how I can hope you. I've noticed you've been having some troubles with love" said Aphrodite. " only because the gods are cruel and make fall in love with every hero that comes to my island, even though they have to leave every time and break my heart." I said with tears in my eyes.

" I have a feeling this time will be different for you Calypso so give the kid a shot, talk to him get to know him." the goddess said. " why should I? to fall for your cruel tricks again? I'm not some entertainment you gods can just watch and laugh at." I said as I was raising my voice. " Calypso just trust me this boy is-" Aphrodite said but got cut off. " no I refuse to fall for it, get off my island, now!." I yelled at the goddess. and just like that she was gone in a mushroom cloud of pink smoke.

and I was alone, again. I noticed Leo packed up and moved his camp farther down the beach, I knew he's trying to hide. He didn't want to see me and i didn't want to see him. I don't wanna fall in love with this boy and I know seeing him is going to make my feelings stronger. and I want to keep my feelings as little as possible.

so when the time comes in the has to go I wont be so heartbroken. I would take him food and watch him explore. I watched him fixing little things around the island.

I didn't really want to talk to him because I knew I was going to get closer to him but I had to apologize for what I said. so when he tripped and broke my bench I saw it as a perfect opportunity to go and talk to him. " Hey" I said, standing behind him. he looked up and said "whats up" and we started talking, after I said my apology I could tell that he didn't really like it because there were still anger in his voice.

finally He fixed the bench he stood up and said " bench is fixed if you ever want to stop ignoring me, I'll be at my shelter. see ya." and he took off running. leaving me feeling even worse than before..................
